John Saxon (https://variety.com/t/john-saxon/), the stoic yet charismatic character actor who starred in many iconic horror, western and genre films, died in Murfreesboro, Tenn., after a battle with pneumonia, according to multiple reports. He was 84.

The daughter of his "Enter the Dragon (https://variety.com/t/enter-the-dragon/)" co-star Bruce Lee paid tribute on the late martial arts actor's Twitter page.

I didn't recognize the name. This guy was allover the place when I was little. I almost like spotting regular character actors and trying to remember where else I've seen him.

Yep. The name wasn't that memorable to me. The face and the roles he played are ingrained in my memory.
