Lots of 8lb jugs today. Priced a little to a lot high , but at least its showing up again.
Now if Varget or either 4895 would show up , I'd be happy!

Just saw a commercial on the T.V. - another show @ Phil Long this weekend (Saturday and Sunday only). Sat 9-5, Sun 9-4.

I'm not sure which of the 2 main promoters is hosting it (usually just 2 promoters host Gun Shows here).

Any of you planning on attending?

I want to shoot at the south site Saturday and then go to the show.
I don't need anything in particular, but it will be fun to walk around.

I don't believe this is Seratoma, I think it is RK (?) holding the show.

Yup. I just checked out the Phil Long Expo web site (http://www.phillongexpocenter.com/Upcoming_Events) and verified that it is being put on by RK. These shows are okay, but I prefer the Sertoma shows.

Nah that black SUV is the feds there just doing some recon nothing to be worried about.... Only when the Walrus whispers Abracadabra into his cufflink should we be worried.

Our table is all the way on the left as you enter, about half way down. Looks like we are right across from someone selling Gadsden flags and the "Come and Take it" Flags. We will try to get a poster or something up. Sorry this decision was last minute and we are scrambling to get everything in order anyway.

FYI, they said anybody caught with a loaded gun gets kicked out. To include carry firearms. I did ask they said that includes concealed carry permit holders as well.

Well, I did make it to the gun show for about 45 minutes Sunday. I guess I am getting burned out on shows. The only thing I found that was interesting to me was a Meuse Argonne Colt commerative. I thought it was high at $1200 for a fired gun.

Sorry man, I really wanted to come down but things went down hill fast up North for me.... I will be at Tanner (as Denver is much closer to Ft. Collins than the Springs) You'll have at least one Ku-Ku-Cachew...

Well the show was pretty slow but we did sell a good amount bad thing is it was all the other vendors buying from us then marking up our products and reselling them at 40%. I did make a pretty sweet trade for a XD .40 though. havn't got to shoot it yet but I will let you all know if it explodes in my face.

I had hoped to make it and then we got word that the wife's grandma passed away sat morning. The next show is Jan 9-10 here in the springs.

For those who aren't aware, NEXT weekend (Friday, Jan 8 - Sunday, Jan 10) there will be a gunshow at the Phil Long Expo Center.

This particular show is being hosted by the Prospectors Sertoma Club. These shows are usually better than the shows hosted by RK SHows.

BUT, if you really have an open wekend, I recommend you attend the International Sportsmans Expo in Denver as well. I'll be posting a link in the General Discussion section for this event.

Just read the ad on the web site listed by theGinsue and it is showing the Sertoma Show in Springs will be held on Friday, Saturday & Sunday. It shows hours on Friday from 1PM. Is that time also for the public or only for the table holders to set up their stuff on Friday?? I'm looking at a post card that I received from the Prospectors Sertoma and it shows ONLY Jan 9th & 10th.....???

BlasterBob, those hours are the regular "public access" hours. I believe that the sellers set up earlier in the day on Friday so that the public can get in by 1300.

Not sure how it works for those displaying/selling at the Sertoma events, but many of the shows I attended growing up (my dad had a table at lots of shows), about 10% of the sellers diddn't set up or open up until Saturday. So, you might see a few empty tables if you attend Friday.

Thanks Thomas. I'm just kinda toying with the idea of having a table for this upcoming Sertoma show. I always hate to make a such a commitment during the snowy season as I live about 150 miles South of C.S. and seems to always be a snow threat whenever there is a gun show up there. I don't like the thought of driving on slick roads on I-25 with all these goofy drivers round us. (NO, I don't feel like I am one of the goofy ones) We shall see what the weather does though. Many thanks for getting back with that info.
