I have a work trailer with 4 HVAC units that aren't working. My electrician has found a bad part, but we don't know what it is, just that it's a "contactor" (see image. UPDATE: He pulled the part and found a part description.)
We need to identify this part & find a source in the Denver area for this part ASAP.

Any help is appreciated. If you have constructive help, please call me at 719-325-6824.

With the part pulled the electrician knows more about the part. His coworker MAY have found a source.

They are heading there now.

It's a discontinued part. Grainger has alternates.

doesn't it seem unlikely that 4 different AC units all had this same part go bad?

Not once you realize that this was a fireworks trailer.

doesn't it seem unlikely that 4 different AC units all had this same part go bad?Not if all were powered incorrectly from same source.

Here is a link. Without examining the wiring, loads, source etc. I can't responsibly make an recommendation. Hope this helps.

Pretty much any parts place will have a contactor. Just make sure it?s the same control voltage and rated amps and tour good to go. If an electrician did the diagnostics on it I would double check the compressors and fans. Just saying in my experience electrocutions can?t trouble shoot loads at all. Contactors going bad is t that common, they are normally the result not the cause. But you got a 2 pole, 20 amp most likely 24 v contactor, but double check the voltage. Grainger should have one if you can?t get to the parts house

I looked at the link. The control voltage is 120 not 24

You don't need that exact part a 2pole 20 amp definite purpose contactor with a 120volt coil from just about any supplier will work. Do your self a favor and upgrade a little and get a 30 rated contact it will last longer. Looks like the coil is smoked from your pic. The coil is sold separately. Granger will be the most expensive route Johnstone will have it or an equal. Here is the link. https://www.johnstonesupply.com/storefront/store5/home.ep?
You sure an electrician is telling you this. Get rid of that guy.
