Just musing today about all of the things I'm supposed to be anxious about, panic about, be concerned about, worried about, causes to contribute to, contributions to make, and things that I must fix in my life and fix in this world....

1. ASPCA - save all the animals, all the millions of animals that have produced out of control
2. Climate change - ..... the science is settled.....[Sarcasm2]
3. Poverty - We still have poor people
4. Breast cancer - I'm all about saving the ta-ta's [Coffee]
5. Gun violence - ... not gonna say anything about that...
6. School shootings - See #5
7. Social injustice - Any definition is as good as another.... life isn't fair
8. Black lives matter - They always have mattered. Just like all lives matter.
9. Poor education system - Where do you start?
10. UNICEF - If it wasn't part of a larger more corrupt organization, it's a good idea
11. Government fiscal responsibility - HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!! [ROFL1]
12. Polar bears - See #2
13. COVID - That's been beaten to death...... [beatdeadhorse]

This is just off the top of the head list of things that are supposed to consume my life.

Feel free to contribute, comment, or (moderators) delete.

You worry about, or are concerned about, a lot more than I do. I don't have the energy to worry about all that crap.

It's what MSM says I'm SUPPOSED to be worried about.... not what I AM worried about....

9 and 11 are concerning. The rest is just bullshit or things I have zero control over, so zero fucks given.

I cannot believe one of the most important things to worry over, at least last week is.

https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/portland-summer-drive-fest-flunks-154234731.html

The rescheduling comes after a tweet Saturday by Portland author Lois Leveen, who wrote, ?National reckoning on overpolicing is a weird time to revive Kindergarten Cop. IRL, we are trying to end the school-to-prison pipeline. There?s nothing entertaining about the presence of police in schools, which feeds the ?school-to-prison? pipeline in which African American, Latinx and other kids of color are criminalized rather than educated. Five- and 6-year-olds are handcuffed and hauled off to jail routinely in this country. And this criminalizing of children increases dramatically when cops are assigned to work in schools.?

every day i'm reminded , more & more of this line from Pink Floyd's Animals

AND WHEN YOU LOOSE CONTROL

YOU REAP THE HARVEST YOU HAVE SOWN

Wait - plastic straws. Gotta lose sleep over those.

Global warming sends chills down my spine. I feel like an oxymoron. The demonization of oxycontin is worrying.

What about The Gender Identification Crisis? Now I am offended, being a #14.

The large sugary drinks and plastic bags crises have been averted due to taxes in some enlightened areas, thankfully.

Just read the headlines. That's all you need to know the MSM wants you to get wound up about.

I'm getting to the point of going dark on anything MSM. It's sure as hell not useful to me, so why bother?

+1 [Beer]

Too much BS to be concerned about.

I don’t watch MSN, I have stopped Facebook and LinkedIn, never did use Twitter or Instagram.
I get my news from you guys and gals.

Right now I am just trading guns. I traded a 10/22 and two eastern post war Mauser rifles for a Krag and a Garand. I am way better off just ignoring the news and social issues. My soul is cleansing itself of the poison that was depressing me. I feel so much better.

I'm still dealing with "plastic or paper" dilemma !!!!

You better get that one resolved soon because your next dilemma is going to be whether to bring your own bags or pay for them.

Shit...so if I bring my own bags do I bring paper or plastic?

If I?m bringing my own bags they?ll be made out of whatever I want. Probably animal pelts of some sort in hopes of triggering some snowflakes.

Animal skin shopping bags. You might be onto something there.

You forgot:
14. Cultural appropriation by elite First World (primarily of European descent) imperialists
15. Plastic bags and straws (GilpinGuy mentioned the straws but not the free shopping bags)
16. White domination of the entertainment industry and scientific/technical career fields
17. Male domination of STEM fields
18. Representation in popular entertainment of pedophiles, non-Christians, furries, people who don't suffer from melanin deficiency, and other downtrodden victims of white male opporession
19. Eurocentric academics
20. Monsanto and GMOs
21. Trump
22. Trump
23. Trump
24. Did I mention Trump?

Get a bidet. If the water gets turned off, you have bigger problems than dingleberries.

The USPS is the responsibility of Congress. They've been refusing to fund the post office for about a decade. Then you get Congress trying to ram a $25 billion USPS bailout into a Covid-19 relief funding bill.

...which leads to insanity like this:
82653

The part that really makes me sad, is that there are enough uneducated people out there that buy into the BS. Congress didn't do their job, so it's Trump's fault.
