I was wondering the same thing. They were on their bikes within feet of the bison and that wasn't close enough for a good picture??? She had to get closer than that? WTF.

I've seen so many videos of bikers riding through bison herds during Sturgis and I've always been surprised we don't see more videos like this especially since it's always with young calves around. A 1 ton bison mom is not the least bit afraid of a Harley.

I was amazed at the “Tourons” between Moran and Jackson WY last year. We come upon a lot of vehicles on the side of the road, figure it must be a wreck.
Nope, a herd of bison are next to the road And all of the Tourist Morons (Tourons) are out of their cars 5 ft away from the bison taking selfies.
There is a 4 strand of barbed wire separating them from as one idiot said “Big fluffy cows”.

I asked my sister who lives in Jackson how many people get jacked up each year from the big fluffy cows.
