Am I the only one here who thinks they're awful?
Ridiculous, over-the-top and hysterical.
"Slick shady?" "Chemical weapons?" [facepalm]
Not a Hickenlooper fan but those ads just reek of desperation. Actually it's worse than that, they almost seem to be more like parody ads than real ads.
In fact, it seems like Hick's campaign has backed off some of their anti-Gardner stuff and is just letting these silly ads speak for themselves.
What's that old Clausewitz saying? "Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake."
In a "purple" state with a large urban/suburban voting bloc I'm not sure Gardner really stood a chance against Hickenlooper anyway, but I don't really think these ads are doing much to help Gardner's campaign.
The only people who would take them seriously are the ones who are already voting for Gardner.
Not even September and I'm already sick of the campaign ads. Ugh.
Annoying? Yes.
But I am more disturbed by the Hick commercials that show him with lipstick on or something. He looks like Janet Reno. Ughhhh.

CO hasn't been purple in a long time. I'd argue it went permablue when weed was legalized and the D's took the trifecta under Hick (thanks Dudley).
They reek of desperation because frankly Gardner is desperate.
I'm getting them so frequently on the YouTube that I don't even hear them anymore. I watch for the button to go to "Skip Ads" and click.
The commercials don't come from Gardner, but he is vulnerable due to the makeup of the state.
The thing is the HicknDOOPer had many ethics violation news coverage just prior to election coverage. I do not like those wing nut job ads, but I do like the ethics violation ad, and Corey's own ads.

They should just run an ad with Hick saying he's "not cutout to be a senator" on loop.

Use an ad blocker. I haven't seen an ad on you tube in years.

McSally did something similar down here, last election and lost. Now she's hovering along the same line of campaigning. Sadly the other candidate, on the D side is..................Mr Gabby Giffords, mark Kelly. No one is holding out hope for her chances. Though the alternative is not good, at all.

It's gotten so bad on the Roku with the youtube ads, I am seriously considering setting up cheap home theater pc and throwing firefox with noscript and adblock plus on it.

LOL, the drunk who hit him probably just left Hicks bar and Hick probably did it as part of a settlement.
The Colorado Republican Party is inept and will never win a major election again until the leadership is replaced.

.... and shish money.
"Everyone! Hicknlooper is a good guy. When I got hit by a customer's SUV, He got me 250k settlement and covered me with full cobra."

Correct, they aren't any different than democrats.
Remember when they walked out of the 2016 convention hall when then candidate Trump was chosen.
I changed my affiliation to "unaffiliated" shortly thereafter.
I'm just as suspicious of Colorado (R) leadership as (D) leadership.

Been that way since at least 2006 (probably even before that). The problem is that back in the day the Colorado Republican and Colorado Democrat parties were both libertarian leaning good-old-boy's clubs. But in 2004ish a cabal of hard leftists took over the Democrat party, turning it into a California style soft-marxist enterprise and started the trek toward a perma-blue Colorado. Clearly they won long ago.

Aside from being inept, I still suspect that the CO GOP has been infiltrated by Democrats a long time ago as well (in part, moderate D's fleeing an increasingly hard left D party and in part monkeywrenchers paid for by people like Polis and Gill).
