Title says it all. Looking for Palisade peaches.

I thought I saw something about the peach crop was lost from freezing this spring?

I haven't seen any stands this year where I normally do.

We'll be in GJ this weekend. If there are any promising stands, I'll try to grab you some if you can't find any here.

It is a work related trip though, so no hard promises proffered.

Wouldn't mind grabbing some for ourselves, if the timing is right.

Few Palisade peaches made it to market this year. I found some 3 weeks ago in GJ and bought a few but they were poor. A late spring frost killed the crop. It's farming. Next year....

Palisade peaches may be the best produced anywhere due to soils, water, pests and weather but weather is the most fickle.

Was in Crested Butte and Salina two weeks ago. Saw a few stands. Came back Tue, the day of the storm. No stand open.

My niece has an orchard, they lost 95% of their drop this year. Even the stands that claim they have "Palisade Peaches" they are likely not unless you are in the area.
