There's a high probability that tanner will be back after the 'rona.
For now, at least the vendors aren't getting paid off scalping walmart ammo, so that works for me.

It is my understanding that we should have an RK Gun Show here in Colorado Springs over the Thanksgiving Day weekend.
Lots of rumors about the TANNER show not returning to the "Merchandise Mart" location.
Not sure where they would host the show instead.

Over the years I have bought a lot of neat stuff at the TANNER gun show.
Made some friends too.
I like to attend, I don't like loosing my weekends WORKING at shows!

Not a fan of the crowds but always seem to find a deal, some part I need or run into an acquaintance.

Usually have good luck finding mags for my Ruger Stds for $15 instead of $30.

The RK Gun Show that WAS scheduled to be held at the event center in Colorado Springs over the Thanksgiving day weekend has been COVID cancelled.
The latest round of restrictions made it impossible.

The Gaylord should go after the Merchandise Mart customers (Tanner, Colorado Collectors Show, Christmas Show, Gem and Mineral Show, etc.). They have the space, and who knows how long before the convention business takes off again.

Tanner at Arapahoe Fairgrounds: good crowd, plenty of parking, two entrances cut down on line time. Both sides of the barn and the middle were full of tables. Few junkers: glass pot pipes that were shaped like dicks, harbor freight junk tools... I didn't check BGC wait times but heard between 11hrs and...25 minutes. ? Ammo was plentiful but high. Wtf is up w .300Blk ammo prices?

Thanks for the price update on that ammo - I had considered going but . . .

ammo prices for 300 blk out have been crazy - just trying to find a box of heavy weight has been impossible... right now I need gas checks if I want to consider 300 blkout for reloading.

I have brass, I have primers, I have molds for 300 blk out....once I de-zinc the furnace I have I can at least consider casting a few rounds. No real rush here; not like I have figured out what sort of powder I need. I think I have a few hundred rounds of factory ammo; but all of them are high speed light weight configuration. I know I have a max weight mold + light weight mold I have are both configured with gas checks. I think I might have one mold in sub 200 grain...but I will have to check my reloading bench to be sure if it requires gas checks.

I am glad to see that someone else spotted the advertising for the TANNER show.
It is a 3 day show, opening on Friday afternoon.
We are setting up on Friday morning, so will be ready when the show opens.
This time they are renting the entire building so it a bigger show than the last one here.

I went on Sunday: boths sides of the hall were full but not packed to being uncomfortable. So many beautiful oldies...It was a good show. Hoping this weekend's Tanner also fills boths sides w guns, ammo and old camo!
