You would need a small game or fur bearer license. I see a lot of them in wyoming.

Small game. There is a new, large, hole in my family peppery that I need to investigate. Probably just Swift foxes though.

I got one hanging around my house that is going to get exterminated83496
He's a mean little dude. I walked out the door and he just growled at me and walked off about 10 feet and turned around and stared at me

I’ve had a few run in’s. Never during season or where I could shoot em. License is covered . Might even have access to a decent amount of private land.

Badgers are top of the list for immediate elimination if found on the property.

Is that mostly because of the dog? Minions? Both?

I didn't realize you had other animals. That all makes sense. I wouldn't mind being one of those to mount either.

I zigged, it zagged back the wrong way. Does that count?

Goats (only have 3) stay at family members ranch in Yuma pretty much 11mos of the year and chicken coop is co-op with neighbor. We split the birds, I buy the feed, they provide labor, we split the egg money and split the birds raised for slaughter.

last badger that I killed came to me when I was out calling coyotes. Came running in to a distress call. BANG. If I remember right the fur buyer only gave me $15. for him. Better then nothing.

Most land owners around here say shoot the deer, pronghorn and prairie dogs... just leave the badgers alone. They kill the prairie dogs and push away the coyotes.

While prairie dog shooting one time a badger came flying out of a hole, ran about 20 yards to a wounded prairie dog, snatched it up and went back to it's hole to feast. It was an awesome sight.

I always see badgers in Utah just east of Grand Junction. Always thought they would make a great hat. I would enjoy seeing the looks at the grocery store walking arround with that thing on haha.

Healthy looking beast, nice color markings, make a good speciman for taxidermy.

Or a good had.... I always wanted a skunk hat, like Curly in the Three Stooges.
