I voted for Trump last time and again this time. I don't like him. He is full of himself, lies, etc. A lot of that is the MSM twisting things he says in jest. He does get things done.
As much as I dislike Trump, I dislike all politicians even more. They are everything Trump is except they do not want you to see that side of them. Although they may not lie as often as Trump does, I think their lies are more harmful to the people of this country and many of them have been in politics for decades. For instance, Obama Care did not give me better care at a more affordable price. It was quite the opposite. Higher premiums, higher deductibles and no improvement in care. It is amazing how they all come out with much more wealth than they went in with. For those of you making about the same in salary as a Senator, compare your wealth to theirs.
I want Trump in there to bring to light the corruption within our government. I am hoping for 8 years, then maybe more of we the people will have our eyes opened to what we really have in Washington.
Maybe it takes a thief to catch a thief. I'm ok with that if it helps to clean-up the shithole.
That's not really where I was going with my post, but it's a good point. Maybe best case scenario is that the country learns that we don't actually have to put up with a much political BS, and in the future we find people who aren't terrible and can do the same job or be as effective.

The converse is also true. (No matter what Trump does, his supporters will not waiver). Anti gun on anything? Doesn't matter. Declare you're entitled to a third term? *cheer*. Shoot a democrat? He deserved it.

He's spent a lifetime living in Trump's best interest. He's greased people left and right his entire life, donated to hillary, and he's used his position to make money too. So while "cleaning the swamp" is a buzzword, we're four years in, and it still smells like a swamp to me.
I voted from Trump for one reason only, btw. SCOTUS. If ACB is appointed before November, I may not vote for either this time. Outside of judicial appointments, the damage is too great to our nation either way.

Although it cannot definitively be proven, I seriously doubt Hillary's email scandal would have seen the light of day had her opponent been a traditional GOP candidate. Her scrubbing of the over 30,000 emails. Not once did they deny the content of the uncovered emails. There is much more wrt her holding a TS clearance which is required training. She had a responsibility to protect classified info regardless of whether it originated from her. Recipients also have a responsibility.
- The fact that the Obama administration was spying on his campaign.
- Corruption within the FBI (Comey, Strzok, Page, et al)
- We now have the Bidens
I believe it is because of Trump that these things have come to light. Surely you don't believe it can be easily cleaned up. If so, please detail how that would happen. Now that it is out there for all to see, it is up to us to demand it. Again, much easier said than done. I hope you did not think he would get into office, wave a magic wand and make it all go away. Agree. My primary reason for voting for him the first time was SCOTUS. He has shined a light on much more corruption than I ever expected to see. Now that he has, I want to see more. If Biden wins (which btw I fully expect) everything I highlighted above will be swept under the rug and we will be right back where we were 4 years ago.

Remember the "anybody but Hillary" movement in 2016? It is what got Trump in. We are now seeing the reverse, "anybody but Trump". The problem I see is in trying to do the moral high-ground move, it will do nothing but roll out the carpet for the dems and the madness they are currently bringing. It doesn't matter much that I dislike Trump as a person. His accomplishments during his first term were pretty good, certainly better than if Hillary had won. Hold my nose? Maybe you can look at it like that. More like, I could care less what Trump is/does/brings, whatever it is will be better than the what Biden is promising.
And keep in mind, Trump is the only one really talking policy. Aside from promising to raise taxes, Biden's policies are all platitudes and nothing more than "I have a plan and it is really good". If you are unwilling to tell me what the plan is,.... it must really suck and you don't want me to know what it is. Too many people have fallen into the vote on emotion and that will be the downfall of the country. This decade or in a few, who knows. Trump only slowed things a bit. But I plan to dig my heels in for as long as I possibly can.

Unfortunately, there's too many factors aligned against him. Even if he wins. The D's have so many fall backs on ice. They'll stop at nothing short of actual removal of him from office. To achieve their goal .

Not to overly nitpick, but each and every single one of those has to do with Trumps campaign / trumps election / trump trying to get reelected, and each and every one of those is entirely about Trump. Or in other words... what's he done that isn't for sake of wiping his own butt, e.g... If he's only attacking corruption when it personally affects him, then he's doing nothing any other politician doesn't also do, and he's yet to actually "clean" anything in four years.

I did the same, and will do it again. I've been pleasantly surprised by Trump during the first term. I expect him to press forward with court appointments in his next term, including SCOTUS since a couple of hold-outs may be waiting to see if Trump loses so they can retire.

The only things that surprise me about the hard drive are 1) that people are surprised at this level of corruption at Biden, Inc. and 2) that Joe Biden had the mental acuity to put together an organization and payoffs worthy of Vincent "The Chin" Gigante. I'm not even surprised that Hunter was dumb enough to record it all.
Biden is running for some of the same reasons HRC ran.
1. Keep the illicit funds rolling in

Though the comments I see from liberals and moderates on social media about why many of them don't care about this is that there are millions of Americans that can't afford food, rent and utilities because their decent jobs went away. And in order to make any money when unemployment ran out, they had to take lower paying jobs and are dependent on food banks and charities for assistance. They just don't see that political corruption is more important than helping the people, which the media has done well in spinning all the blame to Trump.

I DVR and watch Tucker almost every night so I wasn't going by 2nd or 3rd hand reports.
UPS found the flash drive and returned it to Tucker @ Fox News. No solid explanation but the current story was the mailer was possibly damaged by machine handling (or an employee) and they found the drive in a supervisors office, claiming it had been turned in.
I can't tell you why or what they were thinking, or the reasons for mailing "documents," but it sounded like a pretty big collection. I don't think most "news" people are all that tech savvy to begin with.
As a general rule, news people are neither tech-savvy, or all that smart, though I can see them not trusting a cloud service provider for pretty obvious security reasons.
Evidently, though, Tucker did have copies of all of the files made before the drive was packed up and sent.
Frankly, they better do a good job of scanning that thumb drive once it gets to it's destination.

They would have done better by mass emailing every news agency in the world, especially BBC and Al Jezerra. Along with anyone on the TC fan following list.

WASHINGTON (SBG) — A witness interviewed by the FBI as part of a year-long criminal investigation into the overseas business dealings of Hunter Biden said this week that the bureau's agents focused their questions, in part, on the work that the son of the Democratic presidential nominee, former Vice President Joe Biden, performed for a Ukrainian company while his father was handling Ukraine policy for the Obama administration.
In an exclusive interview with Sinclair on Thursday, Tony Bobulinski, a former business partner of Hunter Biden, said he was interviewed for some five hours, by up to six FBI agents at a time, at a bureau office in Washington on October 23. The federal agents, Bobulinski said, listed him as a "material witness" in an ongoing investigation, told him they will require additional questioning, and extracted the data from three cell phones that he made available.
Bobulinski has said the devices contain emails, corporate documents, WhatsApp chats and other digital evidence of his tenure as an executive at SinoHawk, a venture co-founded by Hunter Biden to do business with the Chinese energy giant, CEFC. But Bobulinski's account of his FBI interview suggests the bureau is also pursuing investigative leads that extend beyond sinoHawk's China venture to include Hunter Biden's work in Ukraine.
"I can assure you that the agents in that room, when we walked through the text messages where Hunter Biden outlines he's on the back of Mykola the founder of Burisma's yacht, in Monaco, that they were at full attention, taking extensive notes and asked multiple questions," Bobulinski told Sinclair in a satellite interview from Los Angeles.
Mykola Zlochevsky is the founder of the Ukrainian energy firm Burisma, identified in a recent Senate Homeland Security Committee report entitled "Hunter Biden, Burisma, and Corruption," as a natural gas company that paid the younger Biden approximately $83,000 a month to sit on its board while the elder Biden oversaw U.S. foreign policy toward Ukraine. The impeachment proceedings against President Trump in late 2019 and early this year focused on his requests that the Ukrainian government announce investigations in Hunter Biden's work for Burisma.
Separately, Sinclair confirmed this week from an official at the Department of Justice that the FBI in 2019 opened a criminal investigation of Hunter Biden and his associates, focused on money-laundering allegations, that remains open and active.
