Anyone else going to load out heavy for Tuesday?s commute home in anticipation of the threatened civil unrest (read rioting here) ?
I?ll be humping an Alice pack with some goodies and survival items in case I have to depend on my LPCs for transportation.along with a long gun. And I?ll be driving my truck in case I encounter any mobile speed bumps or have to off road it.

I'm thankful that my normal commute up to DTC has been indefinitely suspended this year. Wife works super close. Trouble would be wise to avoid our neighborhood, tho.

Their Mamas would not drive them through the mess that is called the Gap to get to your area anyways.... And an Uber ride would cost too much.......[LOL]

Yes. I work close to downtown and will have a bit more organized kit than I usually carry this week. I added a gas mask to my truck kit a while back when the riots were happing earlier this summer.

Wife and kids have some stuff staged too in case there's need to head out of town for a bit.

Distance is a security all its own....or something. [Coffee]

Not really too concerned about Tuesday, but prepared for what comes after, unless it is a complete blowout, we will probably not know for days.

One of my buildings closed for Tuesday and Wednesday. Hoping the other three follow suit. Nothing but boards on the windows anyways. Homeless seemed to be moving in, or riot campers, not sure which.

Planning on a heavier load out.

I only have to commute up and down the stairs in my house--have worked from home full time for the last several years. But if I go anywhere (which I'm not planning on), I'll be carrying the VP-9 or P-10c instead of the Shield.

I think I can get a hands on Clinton, Obama, and Biden sticker as a camouflage.

The PE firm that owns a portion of my employer has given all employees of all their portfolio companies a paid day off on Tuesday to make sure everyone has the chance to vote. We’ve also just been working from home since March anyway, so no difference for me.

Yep, Wednesday or Thursday might be a mess.

I am likely going to throw a rifle and several mags in the truck.

Can't carry at work (AFB), but sure will have a couple small knives on me. Add a 20" trailer hitch ball wrench to each vehicle, goggles, high lumin flashlight in case of off base issues.

I'm trying to schedule my work so that I'm south of town Tuesday and can take the wide swing around Santa Fe up 470 through Golden to Boulder in the evening on the way home, Wednesday scheduling myself up in Westminster and Thursday in Windsor. Doing all I can to avoid driving I25 through Denver, that will be a shit show if Trump wins. Staying out of downtown Boulder as well, they marched last time they lost, I imagine they will be a little hotter this time.

I generally don’t worry too much about stuff like this but given the happenings of the last few months I think the possibility of the natives being restless is real.
I would like to say I could care less but if the miscreants decide to get froggy and then spread their cheer to the ‘burbs then it is a very, very real thing.
It would be as close as my backyard.
“Load out” implies mobile.
My AO will be static.

Staying home instead of commuting to the 9 to 5 ?
Wish I could.

I'll be stuck in a Marriott in Junction City Kansas with takeout and some decent pale ale. I'll also be accompanied by my 686.

One concern I have is the buyer is closing on my house on Friday. We will be a long way from downtown but.....

I took off Tues and Wed specifically because of election day and the fallout. Nothing will (should) happen up here but it'll be interesting to follow the news reports and scanner activity.

Try months. This court fight, will make the sore/loserman hanging chads, look like a retirement home, shuffleboard convention.

HIGHLY doubt anything on Tuesday night will happen it will be the days and weeks to follow. I would suggest not carrying a rifle though as you will be painting a target on yourself. Best to carry a full size pistol concealed and go as low profiled as possible.

There's a buffalo wild wings in Manhattan, KS, and they do BOGO on Tuesdays (call ahead, I dunno if they got the same specials across state lines). Might be worth a scoot down the road for some wings.

I usually get off work by 3, so I'm not really worried about that. I'll play Wed by ear and see what happens.

My schedule forces me to be in centennial Wednesday. 470 will be my friend to go north if there is anything stupid going on.

UNLESS Trump has such a decisive win that they can not cheat their way out of it.

But yeah, I am prepared for the weeks to months, I will have to delete my FB account if that happens and find another way to stay in contact with the family

I could be wrong, but I don?t think anyone here was suggesting to sling a rifle upon their person, but rather what they would take in their vehicle.

OPEN CARRY AZ! if needed, and legal.

I don?t foresee any issues with my commute, as I live and work on the outskirts, but I took the week off anyway.

My approach is
1. Avoid potential risks (danger zones)
2. Prepare for likely and most dangerous risks in the event I have to enter a danger zone

I've already turned in my ballot and received confirmation that the Elections Board got it. I am avoiding polling places and ballot drop-offs as well as downtown tomorrow.

Tonight at a my truck prep night.
Making sure items are handy. Body armor, extra clipazines and needed accessories.
Just in case I run into funloving protestors who want to stop my freedom of movement.

Probably not any real danger in the suburbs but just to be cautious I stuck the revolver and shotgun back in the safe and filled their spots with an AR and a Glock.
