Hello everyone!

As the title suggests, I grew up in Texas and moved to CO a little over 4 years ago after graduating from college. I'm an engineer, tinkerer, and hobbyist machinist, so the AR-15 is a great fit for me. I don't own an AR that I didn't build, and it'll probably stay that way. I'm slowly learning more gunsmithing and really enjoy it.

I have a "battle" rifle and a precision rifle. The battle rifle is 16" mid gas, MOE furniture, FSB, with a vortex strike eagle 1-6. Everything else is mil spec.
The precision gun is a 6.5 Grendel with a 20" barrel, rifle gas, lightweight bcg, adjustable gas, hiperfire trigger, Luth-AR MBA stock, Miculek comp, and a vortex razor 3-18x50 sitting on top. I shoot precision rifle competitions with it and have a ton of fun doing it.

I'm looking forward to being a part of this community!

Howdy! Lots of family in Texas and daughter at Texas A&M. Debating heading back that direction...but the mountains...hard to give those up.
