Predictions?

I do not see gun or ammunition prices dropping.

I think there will be an economic recession.

I think Colorado will continue to move even farther left in it's politics (I know that has nothing to do with a Biden Presidency).

I hope I am wrong but think there will be a national ID card system set up as a result of the Covid panic. You will need the card to prove you have had the vaccine and be allowed into Federal building, airports and the like. This will get the ball rolling and lead to much more governmental intrusion into our lives.

What are your thoughts?

Overjoyed the wife just got a new job that aside from some big career advancement may also be a means to go to Texas or even work from home in the most remote hard red state possible.

I may put my AR up for sale. A base-model Del-Ton, no optics, no rails or other options.

My price?

Nice.

I may or may not have a few I would be willing to part with if the price was right.

I think there is going to be a flip flop of the politically motivated “peaceful protests”.... the conservatives are going to be forced into acting like children next. Dividing everyone further.

What makes you think you’d be able to legally sell your Assault Rifle? That’s what “AR” stands for afterall.... right? Uncle Joe might just say nope, they’re illegal. No window to sell, no grandfathering, etc.... then what?

Yes, and it isn't looking good. Remember, if the senate is tied, Kamala Harris makes the tiebreaking votes.

That?s the way I understood it.

If you think something fishy went down to get Biden the win you can almost bet they?ll find a way to manufacture the votes they need for those two senate seats.

Don't be silly.

Biden will stay as President for at least 9 months! Then, as a Christmas miracle, Harris will come in as President...

I have a bet going with someone that within a year, Harris will be President. The person I'm betting against thinks I am crazy for it.

The bet is for $1 win/lose (Not trying to find the right odds and all), so I'd be happy to take it with both of you! It's a bet I'd be happy to lose. The person I'm betting against in real life thinks Biden will finish all 4 years.

They already manufactured votes just to get to the run-off (as well as steal the Michigan seat from John James). I'm still suspicious about what went down in Arizona but McSally didn't do herself any favors.

Senate Means Nil.. Be all Good..

Just how much Everclear have you been guzzling? The only reason Obama was able to push through Obamacare as well as some of his judicial picks was the ability to get past cloture in the Senate by stealing a Senate seat for Al Frank. Even that wouldn't have been enough if the NJ SC hadn't directly ignored the clear text of the NJ Constitution and allowed the NJ Dems to substitute Frank Lautenberg for Jim Torricelli long after the deadline to do so (but after it became clear The Torch was going to lose if his name was on the ballot).

The whole purpose of a bicameral legislature is to provide some checks and balances -- no such checks remain when the filibuster has been removed and a single party controls both houses of the legislature, the executive branch, the media, etc.

Won't hurt our IRAs, because they'll try and take them from us, like they've been threatening to do for years. Communism will fix all of those economic concerns.

For those that think Trump wasn't pro-gun enough due to bump stocks, that will seem like nothing in the rearview mirror for where we're headed.

well once all the hand wringing is done. It's time for everyone to sac up. Get on the phone and write to your state reps. Especially the state republican party. Hold them not only accountable, but lay blame all over them for putting up shitty candidates OR ones who favor compromise. In CA (OOPS) CO. the R party has presented not 1 but 2-3 horrendous prospects for governor. That's on them and they shoulder the blame for th eshit you're in now. Down here, well McSally. I'll call her the Jeb Bush, of senate hopefuls.

She lost the first time because all she did was attack Sinema, who also had the hotness factor, going for her. I'd say 95% of her ads were negative, with maybe 5% actually telling us what she would do.

This time around, after being appointed to fill McCain's seat, i think i heard 1 ad saying that "she'd do something" not sure what it was, but something. Other than she's a fighter pilot. Yeah great, he's an astronaut, 0-1

The Harris administration will start a war in the first year, remember we haven't started any wars started since President Trump took office. President Trump cleaned up some of the messes from the previous administrations. Remember ISIS that Obama aided and abetted, remember what ISIS did to people?

Remember when President Trump said he'd roll back regulations? What do you think is going to happen if Harris wins, do you think small business (besides guns stores) will be positively impacted or do you think a landslide of regulations will smother small business.

I know you're not talking about the debt but these things are linked.

https://terrythompson.org/2020/05/12/where-does-this-magical-stimulus-money-come-from/

So, where is this $3 trillion, and very likely much more, coming from? It’s complicated, but let’s look at it in general terms. The federal government sells government bonds, or IOU’s, to banks which in turn sell them to individual and corporate investors. Since these bonds have the government backing them, along with a reasonable interest rate, there is a decent market for them, especially in these uncertain times. The government will just sell more bonds that they will later have to pay for plus interest.

Now, the question is how does the government pay back the investor in principal and interest that they haven’t budgeted for. Some pundits say the US Treasury will simply print more money. That is not exactly true, although there is some sleight-of-hand here. The Federal Reserve–the government bank–creates digital dollar credits that are as good as cash. These digital dollars will of course ultimately be called for by the bond holders, but, by that time, the government will hope to have enough revenues from taxes and future bond sales to pay the debt. Eventually, any shortfall in revenues to pay off the bonds will be paid by increasing the money supply, or literally printing more money. Unfortunately, printing more money lowers the value of the dollar and hurts the economy.

Haven't read it all, but did get this quote:

Epidemiologists have repeatedly pointed to New Zealand, Australia and parts of Asia that have brought the number of daily new cases to under 10 as an example of how to contain the virus.

Funny, all southern hemisphere... where it's currently the dog days of summer, and cold and flu season have passed. I guess we need to turn the dial up on that global warming quickly.
