Highlights

"DPS announced this week that it's installing germ-killing VioSafe lights on many of its buses."
"The new technology is intended as protection against COVID-19 and other viruses and bacteria, DPS says."

The VioSafe website says nothing about it's technology killing viruses.

Highlights

"University researchers have proven that VioSafe specific wavelengths of visible light are safe for humans but deadly to bacteria. ellumi? uses these wavelengths to eliminate up to 99% of germs ? bacteria, mold and fungi ? on surfaces while illuminating your spaces with the flip of a light switch."

"This is effective on Strep, Staph/MRSA, E. Coli, Salmonella and many other harmful bacteria, mold and fungi."

That's why we don't hear much about it, BOTH sides do it. If it was just the (R) doing it we'd hear about 24x7.

As I recall, the article I saw on Fox31 last night, someone said it kills the bacteria, mold and fungi that the virus can feed on to extend it's life on surfaces. I don't know if that's true, that's just what was said.
