View Full Version : Mechanic needed
Back in the day one of you fine people owned a mechanic shop in Lakewood. I'm hoping one of is still in the business, as I have a bit of an odd request...
I have a 2003 Audi Allroad, and it's air suspension is blown in the front. I bough a conversion kit to change out to a standard strut/coil system.
Kit: https://www.suncoreindustries.com/product/17674/2001-2005-audi-allroad-quattro-air-strut-to-coil-suspension-conversion-kit
I've called a couple shops in the area but they won't do it.... Which I understand as they won't do outside parts or don't want to do an Audi.
Any recommendations or help is greatly appreciated.

Not quite the same, but I was easily able to change out the air suspension on my wifes Lexus gx470 to coil overs. It only took a couple hours in the driveway with basic hand tools.

This is an Audi :) I think you need NFA paperwork for all the tools needed to work on those.

Chris is still in business. He has been in the DTC for 10 years now. He is the only one other that myself that works on my Audi's. His shop is Bavarian Motors +1 (303) 656-9268
We did that exact thing maybe 4-5 years ago, and the customer was supremely disappointed. Maybe that's why no one will do it.
