The clerk put cigarettes and money from a cash register into a shopping bag, and as he was handing the bag to the suspect, the suspect shot him,



Responding deputies found the clerk lying on the floor behind the counter with a gunshot wound to his left abdomen when they arrived.



The clerk who was shot was taken to an area hospital, where he died in surgery,


This happened at 6:47 pm near Quebec and County Line, not exactly the hood.

As for the shooting...kinda sounds like the robber let his Adrenalin get control and loosed a round unintentionally. Either way...their life is basically over if they get caught. I do hope the police find them.

A few months back armed robber(s) hit the Shell station @ Arapahoe and University, fortunately the clerk wasn't seriously hurt. A few weeks prior to that the Shell station at University and Orchard was also hit, no injuries to the clerk.

Old saying is that the mice go where the cheese is. These 3 locations have multiple ways to quickly get away, hopefully someone will drop a dime on the pos to lead to his/their capture or whatever.

See a few sleeping on the sidewalk along Quebec everyday. Douglas County sheriff used to move them along, but they are far too busy with all the other degenerates.

The office said a man walked into the Conoco gas station on E. Arapahoe Rd. near S. Havana St. in Centennial at approximately 4:30 p.m. and pointed a gun at the clerk. The clerk gave the robber the cash drawer. The robber then fired a single round into the ceiling before leaving and heading southbound.


The Sheriff's Office said they're investigating whether the robber could be the same person accused of shooting and killing the clerk at another gas station during a robbery around 6:45 p.m. less than five miles away. They have not made a determination at this time.

The death penalty was repealed last year in Colorado. The gov then commuted the death penalty sentences of the 3 on death row to life without parole.
