Wow that looked like it was a fun hunt. Always strange to hear the stories of them coming thru camp during daylight hours.

Well, in his defense our camp was in his meadow. I also think he locked up because he saw camp

congrats Craig. Any elk with a bow is a good elk. Your first and with a recurve is a hunt that you'll never forget, and to have it on film, now your grand kids will get to have the memory as well.

Yes sir, i was pretty pumped to say the least. I had drawn on 5 different bulls with my compund and never got to release an arrow for 1 reason or the other so i was pretty pumped to get it done with the recurve on the first opportunity. I also shot my bow literally every day to get ready for this hunt.

Haha i wish i could say i can find them like that every year and have them that fired up but we both know thats not the case!
