Diversity is our strength?
The liberals want all our dangerous items under lock and key in a safe and disassembled...and then there are officers who do things like this.

I can sort of understand leaving his vest in the car (although I have to wonder at anyone that leaves anything of value in a car in that part of town) but he left his service weapon in the car? WTH?
Did they take the cannoli?

WTF - This wasn't even at his home, but at a Sheriff's Office facility? Jeeze.....

I'm surprised we park vehicles where anyone can get to them.

That's a burglary--but let's not let facts get in the way

Of course it was a burglary but there's a big difference between letting the burglar get a vest with some radio or bodycam equipment and leaving your weapon and ammo where a simple burglar can get to it by opening a car door, especially in an area where burglaries are fairly common. A smart homeowner who also owns firearms (which category I may or may not fit into) will have the firearms protected in a safe so a burglar can get loose valuables like electronics, jewelry, etc. but not get to the firearms -- or at least the burglar will have to really hunt for emergency firearms.
Despite Leftist efforts to replace education with indoctrination, there is such a thing as common sense.
