Borrowed from another place but 100% Spot on-
So, Rep. Crow (CO) learned why Lauren Boebert wants to carry, and Rep. Wild (PA) was crying on the ground. Crow comforted Wild as they awaited help. They were defenseless and hopeless. They look absolutely pathetic and it goes to show that these weaklings are cowards. Kind of glad they got to experience being disarmed and waiting for help to arrive (experiencing their own policies that they want for us in an actual emergency, which this was not).

ETA: Crow should turn in his Ranger tab. He's a giant douche and I don't give a shit about his service since he seems intent on shitting on everything his oath stands for.

hold on--Channel 2 said Crow went "into ranger mode" during the protest. I thought he single handedly was passing out fap material to pro-government hacks opposing the protest

The pictures I've seen certainly weren't very "Ranger mode". He looked scared, huddles on the floor while old guys had their phones out and were recording.

All that comes to mind about Jason Crow are the "Brave Sir Robbin" lyrics. How in the world does he have a Ranger Tab?

I didn’t realize Ranger mode was cowering behind locked doors. Someone tell Benning they need to add a D.C. phase.
I don't know who Jason Crow is, nor do I care. I am curious what one person is supposed to do about a mob though.
Go into ranger mode obviously.

You should know and you should care.
He is the Congressman for Colorados 6th Congressional District.

This kind of apathy is why we are so very fucked as a nation.
As long as people can watch “America’s Got Talent”,have their feed bag delivered to their house, screw whoever they want and blab away on whatever social media they choose they could really care less what happens to their nation.
And what can 1 person do against a mob?
Brave Jason ran on the platform of being a combat veteran soldier who earned the Ranger tab.
”Rangers Lead the Way” is their mantra.
Brave Jason could have stood up, commanded attention and (choose one)
A- be a leader and lead his fellow brave elected officials to safety.
B- rallied Capitol LE for an organized response to a threat.
C- cowered like a little bitch.
Boy, he Led the Way all right.
He is an embarrassment to real Rangers.

I laughed when I saw that picture of him and read his comments about how surrounded they were and what a traumatic moment he thought it all was.

perhaps that's part of the problem

No I didn’t Stu, I was not in his district.
But I do pay attention to candidates and who and what they are.
perhaps that's part of the problem
Why is it a problem? Sounds like a liar who tells obvious lies to trick the dumb; just like the rest of them.

"Well, you know, in situations like that I kind of reverted to ranger mode which was just focusing on what I could do to actually try to get us out of that," Crow explained. "So I went around and started locking and making sure the doors were locked and closed, moving some of the other members away from the doors, directed the other members to remove their pins so they weren?t identifiable in case the mob did break through."
"I had a pen in my pocket that I could use as a weapon, I was looking for other weapons as well and then I was coordinating with the Capitol police to try to find a way out to for us," he added.
Crow said that there was a time period where they "were surrounded and had no way out." He said the last time he felt as though he may have to fight his way out was over 15 years ago, when he was an Army Ranger in Iraq and Afghanistan.
I don't know what you couch sitters are complaining about. He had a pen and closed doors. If those Rambo-esque moves don't merit some sort of medal or trophy then our entire view of what qualifies as heroic action is skewed.
He held an old lady's hand as she was dying.
A true American hero.

I go into ranger mode every time I get into my 19 year old Ford Ranger [Sarcasm2]

Snippet from the article:
When lawmakers were eventually able to be escorted from the chamber, Crow was reportedly the last one out the door. Prior to that, he also helped teach everyone how to use the emergency gas masks, according to an interview with The Denver Post.
“I wasn’t going to leave the House floor until every member was gone, so I waited until we were able to get everybody out,” Crow told the paper.
Sounds more to me like he waited in the shadows until the "ALL CLEAR" was sounded before he vacated. Just my opinion, though. Never been a fan of his.
Brave Sir Jason ran away.
("No!")
Bravely ran away away.
("I didn't!")
When danger reared it's ugly head,
He bravely turned his tail and fled.
("I never!")
Yes, brave Sir Jason turned about
And gallantly he chickened out.
("You're lying!")
Swiftly taking to his feet,
He beat a very brave retreat.
Bravest of the brave, Sir Jason!

Ha! He helped teach them how to put plastic bags on their heads? That's all emergency masks are, plastic bags with filters attracted. What a hero!
Also, are the congressmen really so stupid they had to be taught how to use them?
It wasn't a mob as seen in Minneapolis, Portland, Seattle, etc. Walking out and saying "hey y'all, let's talk" would have been productive.
Nothing else comes close: the most famous quote ever attributed to the Texas Rangers is ?one riot, one Ranger.? Legendary Captain Bill McDonald (left) is usually credited with the saying. As the story goes, sometime during the 1890s there was going to be a prizefight in Dallas . . .or maybe it was West Texas . . . or possibly it was somewhere along the Rio Grande. We may not be sure of the exact location, but we are sure it was somewhere in Texas. Anyway, frantic citizens had put out a desperate plead for a company of Rangers to stop the fight. Imagine their shock when one solitary Ranger, often said to be McDonald, got off the train. Looking at the lone Ranger, the townsmen wanted to know when the rest of the company would arrive. Then came the legendary reply: ?There?s just one prizefight, isn?t there?

Sadly, they will not see this as an opportunity to rethink their anti-2A stance, but as fodder for more gun control.
Wasn't Crow involved in the impeachment hearings before the Senate?

Crowe was lauded heavily on Chan 9 news this evening. Such a hero. Single handedly saved all the congressmen as he went into Ranger mode using the only weapon he could find.. a pen.
No. Seriously. They did. Create folk heros where none exist.
Yeah. I changed channel when I saw where they were going with it. That was about 10 sec. in.
Did you vote for him Bert?
I lived in his district (thanks to redistricting) and I didn't vote for him. Not that it mattered (due to redistricting).

Is that his face on his stationery? That is the biggest douche move I think I’ve ever seen.
i saw something that Crowe said he hasn’t felt that way since a-Stan. Soooo, the Americans over there were out to shoot him too? If you’ve pissed off Americans on two continents that badly, I’m going to have to say that maybe it’s you.... ;)
