Hi everyone, I've had my AK and Ar for a while now and I want to get a XD Compact or sub compact, does anyone know where around Denver or Ft Collins has them for a good price? I am gonna also trade in my CIA AK47 all black that I've put less then 200rds through it. how much you guys think i can trade in the ak for? thanks![Rant1]

Green Mountain Guns does consignment, but I don't know their policy on trades. I bet they'd work with you though.

If you're looking for a new one, I recommend Sportsmans Warehouse (SW). They have the best prices in the Springs, and the second best availability (once again). I bought my wifes XD9 from SW last February and got it $90 cheaper than the one I bought for my daughter the day before from Specialty Sports. You can (usually) get decent treatment from these folks too. If you have any issues or questions or complaints, John Fly is the new manager there and he's a good guy to work with. Specialty, by the way, has the best availability of firearms in the Springs. Sadly, their prices aren't so good and it depends on whom you deal with and when you deal with them as to whether they will treat you with any level of respect or just treat you like dog doo.

I got my xd 40 last year at grandpas guns in longmont for 450, think it was less then 500 out the door with a box of fmj and a box of speer gold dots

Green MOuntain does take trades, but like everywhere else, you'll get a better deal selling yours outright.
