Been looking at getting into night vision and trying to figure out if I want to go Green or White? Anyone in the metro area have both? I would like to see the difference for myself

subbed.
I am shopping for CHEAP night vision for us to play around at night , which can also be mounted on a helmet. (Under 250)
I am also looking for 1 lower end thermo scope. (looking at burris bts50)

I'm in Elizabeth also and i have a OMNI VII Thin filmed Autogated Green PVS14. I'm sure we can arrange a time to check it out.

The only thing you'll find in that $250 range is disappointment. or an app for your phone The lowest i've seen, average is the $500 ish range. Unless you find a sale. The FLIR seems to be locked in to MAP pricing

I briefly had one of those and it was super lame. Couldn't pick up the heat signature of a raccoon up in a tree that I had already spotted with my normal PVS-14.

For what it's worth, if you want a cool optical toy that you can use alot, check out gyro stabilized binoculars. You can find name brand decent ones for well under 1k, and they make you feel like the bionic man Do try to check them out in person, because that powered gyro does make noise.

North side here in Longmont.

29.7 S/N Photonis Green Phosphor (more emerald than US yellow-green)

33.7 S/N Filmless L3 White Phosphor

If someone does not mind making the drive. I could probably meet up in the evening east of town. Unfortunately I sold my Omni 6 (~25 S/N) & Omni 7 (~28 S/N) devices so I do not have a direct US Gen 3 Green 14 for comparison.
