Cool! Thanks for sharing.
There needs to be more gun content like this.

That was informative, thanks Sean!
With the price of cheap Chinese endoscopes being what they are, I consider them great tools for everything from guns to plumbing to checking behind walls before I go blindly drilling.
Thanks for sharing Sean.

You know you are living just down the road from the guy who is considered at this time the best AR gunsmith possibly in the world. School Of The American Rifle does classes. I've been looking at taking a weekend class just to get the certification from him. Shit, if I was still in MD I would absolutely have taken his classes.
How many rounds to achieve those levels of wear?
Nature of firing = mag dumps at times?

I discuss the round count on the different barrels to get to those levels of wear. There are lots of factors that come into play, ammo, barrel steel, coating, how it's being used... Way more discussion than a 10 to 12 minute video.

In order of appearance it was something like 20k+, 0, 3k, 8-10k, and 14k.

Already took the two day weekend builder and armorer course from Chad. Extremely informative and he is a nice guy. Chad is all about gauging everything. There is a reason he only works on ARs. SOTAR alumni have added access, so if you get the chance, I highly recommend.
