TL;DR, ammo company won't sell to a person who voted for Biden, unless they admit their mistake in doing so.

Dumb

I have to disagree.
I see their point.

I can see why they did that.

Someone who voted against their company is someone maybe they dont want to do business with.

I get it. It just has no teeth. You just lie and get your goods, like everything else. Maybe I should use a different word besides dumb. It's silly. I like that they did it, just realize it ultimately won't mean anything, nor will it change anyone's mind.

Mostly I don't like when businesses get political. If it's not okay for Amazon, then it's not okay for gun store.

While I agree, and would prefer to see all businesses stay apolitical, that isn't reality.

What, specifically, about Amazon?

I don't have a specific example, just picked a big name. Anyway, just posting my knee jerk opinion/reaction. Doesn't mean it's right.

In general I agree.

But with the proposed legislation, they are trying to put them gun shops out of business.

If Amazon was under threat of being shut down via legislation, would it be OK for them to get political about it?

Should a business stay a-political when the politics are trying to put them out of business?

What about unions?

What about various lobbying groups for businesses?

Those are all political.

Reread the last 3 words of my comment...

Businesses, Unions, and Lobbyist Organizations are not part of the proverbial "We the People..."

The reality of today is that these groups are politically involved, to the detriment of the government the founding fathers created, so yes, Fenix and similar should absolutely be involved.

I think businesses should absolutely be involved in the politics of their business. Kind of a slippery slope, but seems unavoidable. Doesn't mean you should necessarily press your politics onto your customers; unless that's part of your overall image like RMEF or something.

Take the case of Penzy's spice shop.... their owner sends out emails calling anyone who isn't lefty/liberal racist, etc. So it's their right to not want me as a customer, but it seems stupid.

But the difference here is that at no point did I vote for anyone who made a campaign issue out of shutting their business down.

One of the main stated dem party gun control goals is to outlaw online ammo sales.... So this ammo company's stance makes perfect sense. It isn't just "I don't like that you think differently" as is the case in most of cancel culture.

Are we not free to sell Wedding Cakes and Ammo, at our discretion?

It's not really selling something if you are forced to sell something.

I gotta agree with this.
If a individually owned pharmacy has a tab if patient voted for Biden, Romney or whatever, and refused business to sell insulin, it would be crazy.
Guns and ammo is consider essential, even a stupid ass commie has rights to defend their lives.

I had a chance to read the link. I like that they are very vocal and up front about the issue.

I think I'd still sell my ammo to Biden voters. I'd just add a hefty surcharge. Really hefty...

That seems like what is defacto going on right now anyway.

Well if they ever have any ammo in stock again, next time I order ammo it'll be from Fenix.
