Which do like? Why?
Lots of them out there with variety of features.
Well, I suppose it depends on the intended purpose.
I definitely prefer to keep things small and light. If it?s just a range gun or plinker I have been liking the Holosun mini reflex sights.
If it were going on a defensive piece I?d splurge and get a Trijicon RMR.

Definitely want small and light. Holosun is in the running.
I seriously doubt I will be willing to pony up for Trijicon.

Trijicon RMR

I bought a Glock 19 MOS so I’ve been reading up and watching videos on all the options and pretty much everything leads to the fact that there are some that will work ok but if you really want one that is going to work without issues and last you need to get the RMR.
Someone posted this one a few days ago, looks like a good idea on the reticle

I personally have shot about 5k rounds through my P320 with the RMR type 2. I cannot say enough good about it. There are other good optics out there, but I personally believe that the RMR is worth every penny.

In my experience, and in the experience of my circles, the Holosun 507c is a better optic than the RMR Type I or II, at $200-300 cheaper.
No tint, you don't have to remove/rezero to replace batteries, and the durability in my experience is better. I've never sent back a Holosun. I've sent in every one of the four RMRs I've owned.

I own a Romeo 1, a couple of RMRs - Type 2, and an SRO.
The Romeo 1 (out of production) has a nice window but they aren't very tough and they will fail in the rain.
The Type 2 RMRs are terrific, unbeatable reputation (the Type 1s had some problems, I would not buy a Type 1 and buyer beware, there are lying scumbags out there selling Type 1s as Type 2s). The problem with the RMR is the small window, RMR is easier for me to use on a Sig P226 than a Glock 17 or 19.
The SRO is nice, big window, not nearly as robust as an RMR. I have mine on a 5 inch 629, I really like it. I do wonder how long the SRO will last with 44 Magnum recoil.
I have no experience with Holosun, I haven't shopped MRDS for a couple of years though so I'm not up on the latest news. I do know that Holosun has been making steady improvements, they understand the growing market, and I wonder if Trijicon is resting on their laurels.
Trijicon is a US company so I am VERY biased towards them. Plus I own ACOGs which I love on my ARs.
Something else to consider
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-08-05/u-s-weapons-maker-seeks-ban-on-chinese-competitor-s-sights
Trijicon Inc. filed a patent complaint with the U.S. International Trade Commission on July 29, saying that Holosun Technologies Inc., of Los Angeles County, is working with a manufacturer in China to sell “red dot” sights that replicate features on which Trijicon has held a patent since 2013.
If Holosun are indeed made in China, then the purchase of such would directly benefit the ChiComs and the harris/biden administration.

I have two RMR06 Type 2s, 1 SRO, and a Holosun 407C V2 on handguns.
RMR Type 2 - excellent and sets the standard. I have had no issues unlike my experiences with Type 1s. I have tried 6.5, 3.25, 1moa. I find the 3.25 to be best for my RMR usage. The 6.5moa was little faster, but felt chunky at times. I did not like the 1moa. Adjustable brightness version is nice as certain conditions trick the auto adjust.
SRO is clearly less robust than the RMR but shoots like a frame mount red dot. Large enough window to track red dot through recoil cycle. Outer frame disappears completely under night vision giving the illusion of a floating dot. Pretty much feels like cheating compared to RMR format.
Holosun 407 V2, shockingly good for price. It's been solid with minimal issues. Auto brightness fails to be correct for conditions more frequently than RMRs. Battery tray is nice. Does not work as well with night vision as RMR/SRO. Glass coatings that are clear during the day interfere with IR light transmission leading to a shading effect under certain night vision conditions (glass appears dark). For the price, I have no real complaints about it other than the source.
If it might be a carry gun I would get the RMR; otherwise, Holosun has a lot of features. I've killed a handful of lesser red dots on pistols. I can't recommend anything Burris or Vortex for this application given the Holosun price and performance. Make sure the RMR is a Type 2 if buying used and you want to pistol mount it.
Over the past 5 years have been adding to my collection for fun time at the range:
Burris fastfire3 - On my .22 Buckmark and most accurate gun I own. Perfect for a smaller gun and with the slide not moving have not had to adjust once in 5years
Vortex Venom = On a 1911 Kimber. Solid performer and do have to check screws after a few hundred rounds even with Locktite blue. Great medium site picture, sits a bit high if you do not have a milled slide
Deltapoint Pro - On a PPQ and now P320 Xfive - Best site picture and function. Costs more than the others so enjoy the most.
Sig Romeo Zero - On a P365XL, made for this gun and getting comfortable to carry with. Bit small site picture but can co witness with the 365
Cabelas Firebee - Was on a Glock G19 - first one failed after 3 range trips, replaced under Cabelas warranty and second one also failed in red dot blurs and moves. Cabelas changed their branded policy so stuck with crap, do not recommend.
