Its all good im sure somebody will explain it to me. I am also on a laptop cant imagine that would have anything to do with it but who knows.

Once I had the image opened, I rt-clicked and saved the image to my Desktop. I then used the Insert Image icon in this post and was able to attach the image directly (see below). - Ginsue]

Thanks I am not going to pay photobucket I tried the others and none of them allow you to link anything except email and text so if you know of a site that is like photobucket used to be let me know.

It would be helpful if one of the mods could explain exactly what the frame and file size boundaries are and what if any image compression is used. It was once stated that there was ample storage available but this being a personal ad-free site I think everyone should be sensitive to keeping file sizes to a minimum. In the absence of automatic file compression that means all image files should be edited by the user with photo editing software or posted from a photo service that does automatic compression. No uploads directly from camera or camera phone unless the photo was taken using the smallest file size.

Personally, I shoot jpeg photos at the largest frame and file sizes that my cameras are capable of. This gives me ample room to crop and enhance the image for publication. For sharing by email or posting on the web I find that frame width of 1280 pixels and reducing file size from ~7mb to about 200-350kb works fine. At that it takes a lot of images to fill server storage.

-Click a photo so it's full screen for you.
-Right click on the photo and select "Copy Image Location."
-Type then paste what you've copied next to your image tag a WITH NO SPACES. After you've pasted, again with no spaces, close the image tag by typing .

Tada! You're done. Now, if you delete the photo in Google, the image disappears everywhere you ever linked it. Get into a fight on the internet and want to rage quit? Delete those photos in Google and they'll disappear everywhere. Have fun.
