I came across this through inheritance it was engraved by Angelo Bee for a lady in california. I am thinking of donating it to the museum in cody WY. I have had it for years it just sits in my safe its a pretty cool piece. I did contact rock island auction and sent pics they said it would go from 3.5k to 5k at auction. I dont care about the money would rather other people could enjoy it rather than it sit in my safe. Angelo Bee is pretty famous and he is still alive in his 80's engraved for browning for many years he did very few handguns mostly shotguns. Its a s&w mod 66 in .357 mag.

Angelo Bee is a very well known and respected engraver. His name comes up frequently on several sites I visit, including the Colt forum. I'd love to see a close up of the frame, but it looks like a fantastic gun.

Beautiful pistol. It’s yours so you should do what you want. You could always loan it to a museum- you get to share it and people get to see it but at the end of the day, it’s still yours.

+1 on the loan. I have done this a few times with the Whittington Center museum. They have you sign a contract for a certain amount of time and then you can pick it up. Mine are a lot older, so I dont know if ypu would have to perform a background check to get it back.
