M1 Garand in 6.5 Creedmoor?

Does anyone know if you could fit 6.5cm rounds in am en bloc clip? I dont have that much knowledge about garands but I know they made some in .308. I also happen to know that springfield is making the m1a in 6.5cm. Would it be possible to get a 6.5 barrel for an m1a and use an existing m1 garand to make one chambered in 6.5?

From what I read that bitchy ass gas system of the garand wouldn’t play well with 6.5CM. Something about the powder etc....
even so the milling and gas port isn’t the same on the M1A as the garand so a barrel wouldn’t work.

Ah I was trying to find the differences between the m1a/m14 and the garand but i couldn't find any good sources.
