Is there a really great machinist around town who has lots of experience with this type of project?

A question about Danger Close Armament milling, does the final machining end up with the two posts up front (circled in red) or more like the other picture and just the threaded holes?8869188692

I will throw out Jagerwerks for an online option. Their work has been excellent and mailing a slide is pretty painless. My nitride slide looks factory. They mill front recoil posts and also ask for specific optic, Trijicon RMR vs Holosun with RMR footprint. Very snug fit.

Edit: When I looked locally, no one would mill the recoil posts a few years ago. They relied on a tight fit front and rear for recoil. That is fine for acting as a recoil lug, but it does not protect the screws as well from a side impact like the posts.

* I am not getting a response from the email I sent to Danger Close Armament.
* Rock Your Glock does not mill the front posts so no interest in them.
* JagerWerks will not mill a G48 slide for a Holosun optic.

Locating a local (Denver metro/Front Range) company to mill a Glock slide has been more difficult than I originally thought. Any additional recommendations are welcome. Maybe I need to consider building a complete (already milled) slide. Hmmm

Dangerlee used to have a machinist, as well as being able to cerakote after the fact. Not sure what the situation is out there now. Haven't been there in a while

http://https://www.mapleleaffirearms.com/I went with Maple Leaf. Their website was professional and included all of the necessary information/instructions, and the price was right. Thanks for the recommendation TBA.
