It's the usual platitudes withe the added scare of domestic terror.

"We're now seeing a rise in domestic terrorism," she says, "and military-style assault weapons are increasingly becoming the guns of choice for these dangerous groups."

Looking at the bill and the list of exemptions, Ruger mini 14 and 30 are on it, proving politician are stupid.

Not going to go anywhere, it's the same bill she's been filing ever since the previous ban ended. Never makes it out of committee or gets voted on. Basically most of them would love to vote on it but they all know it goes too far too fast and it makes reelection difficult at best.

Well, I guess is the new plague of "assault weapons!"

"(G) Any shotgun with a revolving cylinder"

Section H sure seems like a heck of a collector's bucket list.

You have a lot of faith in Tester, Manchin, and the RINOs. Harry Reid who buried the gun bills and the hand full of pro 2A dems from the Obama years are long gone. The background check shit is going to pass with RINO support, and I wouldn't dismiss the other crap as not going anywhere.

I still liked it when Jello Biafra ran against her for mayor of SanFran. Even he didn't like her.

Hasn't she introduced the same bill every year for like ever?

Sure seems like it. Has she ever done anything else worthwhile?

For us, or for her family's and contributors' wealth?

Follow the money.

Don't be so sure about that

Based on this op-ed piece as well as the thought process of most of those commenting. Especially the ones who believe WE SHOULD TAKE THEIR GUNS, BY ANY MEANS!!
I would not be surprised, with their slim majority. Something gets passed, in to law.

The Dems will submit a list of 100 items. The R's will get them to remove 50 that the Dems know are a stretch anyways. Dems will boast "we negotiated!"; R's will say "it's the best compromise we could get". Legal owners will be screwed, criminals will go about their business like nothing changed, 'cuz it hasn't for them. Legal, responsible owners will now be criminals in some cases.

As rondog said.
It is time for this clown to retire. Doing same shit since early 90s, and gets many vote from it. CA gun owners are increasing and getting tired of this bullshit too. Time to elect someone other than Feinsten for senate.

I agree with most. We had house+senate+whitehouse, and could not even push a god damn hearing protection act.

Her bill is probably going to be used as the framework for Biden's executive order which will come out in the next few weeks. He's not going to let this one fade away. Every liberal and democrat are waiting on the edge of their seat for him to act right now. Congress will not move fast enough for him. He will come out with the executive order and look like the "hero" to the leftists. Also, he needs a distraction from the border crisis. He needs to act fast and keep this up front or the border nonsense will be brought back to the front. Just watch.
