View Full Version : Top 2 or interesting Phoenix gun stores?
Heading to the AZ, wanting to poke around in a place with different rules. Prefer Sig and tactical stuff.
Thanks

I’m sure they are suffering the same shortages as the rest of the country.
You ain't gonna find what you're looking for, but I always visit Dillon Precision when in the area.
If they're not busy you might even get a tour. I did many years ago. The back of their building is an airplane hanger!

It's a family trip so I want interesting crap to do when others are sitting at the pool for days on end. Hiking/running/exploring also, but a nice relaxing trip to the fun store is on my agenda as well.

There's tombstone tactical, AR500 (body armor) off 17 and a few gun shops in the area. I'm 1.5 hrs north of the valley, which in CO would be a 2+ hr drive. Except on fridays, then the 17 looks like 70 wb during ski season
If it's a weekend, come on up and shoot at the range i rso at. .
If you're flying, checking in a firearm is easy, even easier when driving . AZ has reciprocity with CO, as well as open carry.
For eats, Chompies and Romanelli's . Off the 60 in Sun City is a killer bakery, New York West bakery.

Scottsdale Gun Club and just down the strip mall is a class 3 shop, at least there used to be one.
Blue Adobe Grill in Tempe will change your life.
Thanks guys. Planning a lot of fun eating there. Cowboy club and Dom and De Luca in Sedona, something my wife knows in Scottsdale. Couple days in Flagg, don't know the current good restaurants there.
Scottsdale Gun Club and Dillon Precision. Those two places are not far from one another.
A little while north of PHX is Jerome. Run up there and grab a bottle of wine from Caduceus Cellars. Good stuff. Beautiful country up there. I spend a lot of time in Prescott and Sho-Low.

Maynard's place is still social distancing and MASK MANDATORY ! His restaurant in Cottonwood has some good food. If one does head to Jerome, they should consider driving 89A on the way there, or back. Also up there is, Out of Africa an interesting place for a visit. PLUS if you're adventurous, their zip line tour looks like fun.

+1 for Tombstone Tactical.
Get one of their stickers. If they still have them.

Depending on if you are driving, and if the timing works out, I highly recommend Blue Corn Brewery in Santa Fe, excellent Mexican food and good beer. Flagstaff, we love Bun Huggers, great burgers and fries, and awesome fried okra (I don?t typically like fried okra).

If you ask nicely. I might include one for you. But you have to stop by to pick it up.

I got a few when I was there two years ago checking out ASU with my son.
I got the AR version and the Shotgun one as well.
