Here's your annual reminder that the deadline for big game applications is 8pm on April 6th.

This is for limited license draw applications for deer, elk, pronghorn, moose, bear, sheep, and goat.

Thanks for the reminder. It?s on my list but I am still trying to work out a few last minute details before I put in. Like to do them all at once and be done.

I'm done, last weekend for deer, elk, moose and pronghorn. Will pick up another elk and bear tag in August.

Be aware that online applications on the last day can be slow or maybe have shutdowns.

Getting it done this week. Now I have two different hunting groups that I have to organize between.

I never wait till the last few days for that exact reason. Always worried with how hard the site may get hit or some issue coming up.

Just put in for points for deer and elk, will probably buy a left over whitetail license and will do the OTC elk.. What I need to figure out is antelope, I?ve never hunted antelope before and I want to get that figured out. One issue is that most of the antelope licenses run at the same time as archery elk otc, another issue is where to even start at picking put a unit and so on.

Thanks for the reminder. This year is mostly points, but I should get my pronghorn area.

I know the areas, but haven’t actually submitted.

Well, dear, are you going to go hunting this year or does all your meat come wrapped in plastic packaging?

Just wondering.... if you're not already a hunter I sense you have some interest. If so, you should just do it. Take the plunge, both feet in. If not now, when?

Hit the nail on the head it seems. Due to a late influx of applicants, the system apparently got overloaded with last minute applications, SO the CDOW&P has extended the deadline out to April 9th.

There is no reason for them not to. They can get more cash and it?s all electronic now, so there?s no excuse for the long wait between when it?s due and the results posting.

15+ years in the draw. No goat. No sheep. Damn.

Those are pretty hard to get. I never bothered ever putting in as there are so few tags in the draw. Some units only have 1 tag. Good luck in the future to getting one, with all the pref points you should stand a decent chance of getting one.

I just put in for points on antelope, deer, elk and moose this year. Maybe I'll see about a leftover doe tag later on, or a bear tag since they are class b up where I go.
