Do anybody have a clue on how many MSR-type platforms are owned in Colorado? This would include all AR, AK, Thompson, Uzi, etc. variants, plus any pistol versions.

Also taking educated guess on quantity of >10 round detachable magazines in the state.

It becomes quickly apparent that many anti-gun activist politicians and their progressive echo chambers have no clue about how prevalent such items are in the citizenry, preferring the notion that they are owned only a relative few social degenerates.

I?m sure there?s a formula for figuring it out.

Let see.

Population of Colorado is roughly 5.8 million.

Over half of those people vote blue and would likely shit themselves if any sort of firearm was in their presence so that leaves about 2.7 million people.

Let?s say for some weird reason 15% of those people don?t own any.

That would bring us to roughly 2.25 million.

Obviously some of those people own more than one so we can just round up to about 3 million.

Assuming those 3 million rifles have an average of three magazines each then that would be 9 million.

Then there?s some behind the scenes math and complicated algorithms and a little trigonometry to get to the final answer.

I came up with six rifles and about twelve magazines.

So, if they can just track down those wacky heathens that own those six then Colorado will be a blissfully happy place with zero crime where everyone can sleep safely at night with their doors unlocked. What a wonderful utopia.

anti-gun activist don't give a flyin fuk about you, or anyone who owns a gun. It's never about facts to a liberal. it's all about the feels. The anti-gun folks are the Constitution, cancel culture ninjas.
Once they feel safe knowing all guns are banned, and ammo's been taxed higher than a 40 oz soda in nyc. They'll dismantle the rest of the Constitution & B.O.R.

BUT, as usual, having only gone after the law abiding citizen, yet never the criminal.. They are going to be in for a come to allah session. When all those former gun owners are now the criminal element they've continually ignored.

Oh guns and mags? more than some state, less than others.

All in all it was a good day.

I just did another mag dump, with my AK.

Is a fishing license required for snagging these?

Is a fishing license required for snagging these?Eww, no. If you do snag any, don't touch them, they're icky. Cut your line, throw them back right away, they WILL hurt you.

Probably pretty close on that estimation. Now please do an estimate on the amount of ammo. that we crazies have currently loaded and ready to rock. The answer would probably scare the beejebus out of our liberal friends.
