basically a peddler was chased by a cop, the peddler turned and shot at the cop (story says with a mac 10 9mm with 30 round magazine)...wait, aren't those banned in the city of NY? yep, they are, hmmm, guess that worked well for them.
anyways, the perp got shot and killed by the cop. good kill IMO.
It just shows more proof it doesn't matter what kind of bullshit they impose, the bad guys will have what they want, and the good guys get fucked.

They're not really concerned about the criminals. They don't obey the law anyhow. But hey, if you can disarm all the law abiding folks by MAKING A LAW, what's not to love (if you're them)?
After all, the politicians don't pay any attention to all those pesky laws, anyway.

What? Politicians obeying the laws they impose on the rest of us?
That's just crazy talk.
I saw this thread last night but didn't have time to finish the article. Check out how this piece of shit's family is reacting.
As he arrived home last night, another sibling, Anthony, cried out, "They shot my brother!"
"I want justice," said their mother, Ancela Martinez, outside the Midtown North station house.
"That was my beloved son," she said. "I want to know why the cop didn't shoot him in the leg or something."
Kelly said a preliminary investigation indicates the sergeant followed proper police procedure.
Also at the precinct house was Sharanda Martinez, who said she and Raymond had been married seven years. "All I know is that my son doesn't have a father," she said.
And Bloomberg will complain about too many guns.

I just don't understand this kind of mentality. I mean, peddling Cds and other crap without a license can't be a felony. Probably doesn't even carry any jail time. But this guy shoots at the cops? I say he got what he deserved.
Good thing NY bans all of those awful deadly guns so that nothing like this could ever happen there.. Oh, wait...
He ran because he had a bench warrant from last time he got caught. You have to have a tax stamp to peddle cd's in New York and he didn't have one.
I'm glad this guy is dead.
I've bought a couple of rap cds from guys in Denver that were always around after the bars closed. The most sketchy one I bought turned out to be the best by far. By skethy, I just mean that it wasn't even the artist himself out selling it, just some guy saying it was the best in Denver.
