This might be a nightmare project for the forum admin...

Any possible way to get each club and/or range a dedicated sub forum like the FRIDPA?

I am currently only shooting in the FRIDPA, and the weather is taking a toll on my trigger time (I have not fired my weapon since September baring the 36 rounds in NV last month for a non res permit qualification). I refuse to shoot in a "stand in lane" indoor range.

I was looking to see what other clubs are around the Denver area and when they shoot. IMO it is a bit cluttered and difficult to track, especially if you don't know the individual clubs acronyms and the locations.

Take a look over in the "Places To Shoot" forum. There's a good thread linking to a Google Map of shooting sites -- some clubs, some not. It's a bit easier visual representation that may help you.

The reason IDPA has its own area is the average IDPA shooter does not play outside the IDPA sandbox. Not good, not bad. Its just the way it is.

In this area there is a ton of individual threads on the different clubs and different matches. For the most part, mainly IPSC/USPSA and 3-gun.

The Eastern Colorado IPSC site www.ecouspsa.com has a lot of info on the different matches.

If you have a question, feel free to post it here. From Benchrest to Silhouette to Sporting Clays to Tactical Rifle, someone should be able to point you in the right direction.

Is there a club for tactical rifle?

Yes, fourth Sunday of the month, March through October at Pueblo West Sportsman's Association. Map to range here http://www.ecouspsa.com/maps/pppsmap.html

Hoser above is the MD for these you may want to PM him.

But the most common rifle is an AR15, we shoot at 10" steel plates from 200 yards out to 350 or so yards, then a regular USPSA popper at around 425. Throw in a few paper USPSA targets from 1 yard out to 100.

NON STEEL CORE AMMO ONLY. Bring about 200 rounds and you should be good to go.

This thread http://www.co-ar15.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10785 has more info.
