In this day and age of political insanity Holtorf stepped on his dick hard enough his own party will cut it off.

Colorado Republicans....I have never seen a weaker, more dumb group in my life.
All plans are still a go for leaving this state soon.

the context didn't even make any sense. was buckwheat known to interrupt people?

I think I know the answer to this question, but is it considered racist to call a black person by any name of another black person, or does it have to be an insult? If he had said, "Hold on Denzel," would it have been the same thing? I assume so.

If he was speaking to a black person, it was both stupid and rude. But I used to watch Our Gang as a kid and never thought the Buckwheat character was portrayed in any demeaning way. Buckwheat was just one of the gang.

That's where I was going. Either way it doesn't seem like something that a polite gentlemen would say in a public meeting.

And then the dumbazz tried to claim he used it as a term of endearment. Terms of endearment in public discourse are a bad idea, keep it professional at all times.

...Must be an older generation thing, because I have no idea what "Buckwheat" is a reference to.

I'm 36, and have never watched SNL outside of perhaps a few Youtube clips. Never interested (except I wish I could see tomorrow's since Elon Musk is hosting). So, yeah, seriously :P

If you're talking the green toy, I know of the green toy, and I know he had some sort of TV show, but that's about it.

Buckwheat is my favorite Little Rascal in the movie remake from the 90's.
