I have a 1990 xlt lariat single cab, manual, Warn 4x4, inline 6. New leaf suspension and exhaust.
Body and interior condition is functional, but it?s not great.
When I last changed insurance this was the most expensive vehicle I had and I put full coverage on it based on replacement cost. Times change, and rust and wear are not friendly to old trucks.
I?m looking for a realistic replacement cost. Google, edmunds, etc, are all over the board. I?m thinking it?s probably worth a few grand now, but...
I?ll upload a few pics in a minute.

The photos are failing to upload. I?ll need to shrink them to get them uploaded. Going to take some time.
It looks like an old blue work truck, reflecting its use.
Seat has been reupholstered, if that matters much.
edmunds says $530
Well, here is the only one on Craigslist at $5,400 from a dealer: https://cosprings.craigslist.org/ctd/d/fountain-1990-ford-150-xlt-lariat-2dr/7316949679.html
I usually consider the dealer price to be at least twice the actual worth on older vehicles like this, but I don't buy and sell a lot of vehicles so I'm no expert.
It?s rare to find a 4WD truck around here selling for less than $4K even in less than stellar condition. Even without seeing pictures of yours if it runs and drives and is road worthy I doubt you could find another one to replace it for less than that.

The used car and truck market is absurd right now. Great time to sell and get top dollar.!
Those OBS fords are going up in value. I'd guess at least 3k if it's in ok shape. Most of those trucks are beat to death.

I know he's very active online. Beyond the auto dealership, he has another business local members might know.

Oh I have no idea, just one I saw when I looked it up at the time.
Maybe you should hold on to it and sell it right after the next snow storm.

Unfortunately, I have to hold onto it anyway. It's irreplaceable right now. Plus it took me a long time to make it so the fluids all stay inside the truck (I'm the only guy I know with a 1990 inline 6 that doesn't leak anything.
It only gets out a handful of times per year, usually to bring in firewood, but sometimes I have to replace a couch or something too. Once in a while I take it fishing in the high country just to keep it moving.
Basically though, for 5k I guess I can drop the full coverage. That's an extra $50 a year I could use to gas up the truck once...
As an aside, the body on the 1990 in that craigslist ad is nicer than mine.
