1. Going into the Firehouse Subs in Fort Collins. There is a little boy, probably about three or four, picking up rocks out of the landscaping and throwing them in the street. I hear his mother tell him he better stop that right now. Coming out of the Firehouse, I see him wait until his Mom isn't looking, pick up a rock, and hurl it back into the street. Mom turns around when she hears the rock hit the pavement, and in her sternest Mom-voice says "Carson! Why did you just throw that rock!" To which he replies in his sweet, factual little voice: "Because it needed throwing, Mommy." Yes it did, Carson, yes it did.
2. On my way home, I got caught in the uniquely urban-Colorado event of a Subaru traffic jam. An Outback and an Impreza in front of me, a Cross-Tek and another Outback to the side, and third Outback behind me. One might say I'd been Imprezed.
That is all.
Pretty damn cool on that first one.
As far as the second one, yes, they are everywhere.
Hahaha, that's awesome for the kiddo to reply like that. And yes, been there on the second!
I'm very Imprezed with the pun....
I like the cut of Carson?s jib.
If it weren?t for Subarus and Jeeps traffic would be pretty light along the front range.
I need to try firehouse sub.
We love Jersey Mike's, but my kid absolutely dislike Mike's.
Firehouse is alright, but my favorite is the Brooklyn Bomb from Deli Zone. Try it. The Dijonaise is the key
Johnny, that Carson sounds an awful lot like my 4 year old boy.... but with toys in the house, not rocks. He’s been taught not to throw rocks already... but I suppose if it needed throwin’...[Beer]

I like Firehouse from time to time, because it reminds me of Florida. Well, less the meth addicts and off-duty strippers (equally likely to be meth-addicted) in the parking lot, the alligators in the retention pond, and the old man in golf pants and a suit jacket muttering to himself in a corner. I don't go there terribly often because there isn't one close to anywhere else I am usually likely to go, and the nostalgia is not quite enough of a draw for me to go out of my way intentionally.
I go to Jersey Mikes probably twice a month in the winter and late summer months, because it is next to the heated and air-conditioned range.
I hear you, Sawin. My boy is just like me, to the point where he gets on my wife's nerves the same way I do, and I hear some of the exact same things I say come out of his smaller frame. Which I find endlessly hilarious.
You guys should also try Charleys Philly Steaks. My wife loves it, but I think it is about above average level. My wife went to Charleys since she was studying in Columbus.
1. If I didn't know any better (and I don't), I'd say little Carson could be one of JohnnyEgo's kids.
2. Around here those Subarus are prolific breeders. Darn things are everywhere!

There's one in ft fun. As for jersey mike's way over priced, for sub par food. If i wanted marginal food at 1/2 their price. I'd force myself in to a subway.

Little Carson definitely isn't mine. I crossed the point where any unexpected surprise children would be over the age of 18 now. Not saying it couldn't happen, just that I wouldn't owe any child support.
