Historically, how many mass shooters have had children?

Governor Gavin Newsom visited San Jose in the afternoon and had similar remarks. ?There?s a sameness to this, and a numbness I think is something we?re all feeling,? Newsom said in San Jose. ?It begs the damn question, ?What the hell is going on in the United States of America?'? Well, for one thing governor, shit heads like YOU creating all the hatred and anger by making racism, sexisms and all the other isms front a center every freaking day in our lives? Maybe you and YOUR kind ARE the PROBLEM??? Create fear, create division, create anger, then blame everyone else - typical. This dipstick is facing a recall vote...

President Biden also was briefed, and later called on Congress ?to help end this epidemic of gun violence in America.? What a dipstick - rinse and repeat above... Epidemic of gun violence? What about the epidemic of hatred and division? What about BLM and ANTIFA? What about that epidemic of violence? Hypocrites, the lot of them... This fool can't even complete a thought and is incapable of speaking in public w/out a teleprompter.

What a sad state of affairs - China, Russia making moves, Iran to get nukes, Israel under attack, the border wide open w/cartels and sex traffickers making major inroads and these a-holes point to guns... Sad thing is, the Sheep don't see it... Heads in the sand or up their ass...

Dunno about children, but they all had a cow.

Seriously though, I think it would depend on how one defines a "mass shooter". Is it the "4 or more shot" (which includes a lot of gang hits, etc.) or the legit actual mass shooters like Paddock, Columbine, etc.

I'm thinking about the second category. Gang violence is a different issue.

Gang violence is ignored by every, and any gun banner alive. To recognize and or mention it. Would mean the democrats would have to admit, who the real perpetrators of "gun violence" are

OMG the asshole had 32 scary "high-capacity" magazines! Because 12 is so much worse than 10. So a max of 384 potential shots versus 320, yet only 39 fired. Obviously the magazines are at fault since the three pistols he used were CA-legal. Our days of 15-round mags in CO are numbered.

more psychopathic vs sociopathic but both equally needs to be stopped.

But those are included in the "mass shooting" category when convenient for their numbers. Otherwise, they ignore them. So when we hear "X number of mass shootings", it usually includes those.

He had 12 guns and 25,000 rounds of ammo at his home.

Calls for legislative limits on the amount of ammunition a person can have coming in 3...2..1.

I am trying to figure out what is joining the rifle mags together (and why?) and what are the green bands for?

It's tactical, man. That's the way Ranger Recon Team 6 does it. Duh...

It looks like motorcycle inner tubes and black electrical tape. The green tape has dates (2/9/219) on it and writing I can't make out.

Considering the feds admitted they (Once Again) dropped the ball. Regarding informing local authorities about this guy. Anyone else see a pattern. Between Charlottsville, Texas (AR) church shooter , this one and iirc the POC in VA, or was it W.VA Every one of them was IMO a result of agencies failure to communicate, or so they say.

The Department of Homeland Security declined to comment on the matter

I?m curious and would be open to discussing what ?ball? you think was dropped. Customs agents spoke with him during screening when he came back to the US. He had ?terrorist? literature and his journal detailing his hate for his job. No laws were broken. Are you saying that he should have been arrested for a thought crime? I generally feel that most members here have a strong opinion against government over reach, watchlists, and red flag laws. So a guy hating his job and being in possession of ?terrorist? literature (which in our current political climate could be anything from a conservative magazine to the Anarchist Cookbook) 5 years ago should have been prevented from owning firearms or be under intense federal surveillance? Thousands of US citizens get screened through customs, this doesn?t strike me as it warranted an arrest nor a federal investigation at the time. The guy was a piece of shit that chose to kill people with guns and improvised explosives. I?m not going to blame the government for not starting a large multi year investigation or stripping a citizen of his rights over a brief customs discussion which discovered no crimes were committed.

If you need more than one box of ammo and one </= 10 round magazine, you are a wannabe spree killer in waiting.

And?

Had he not broken down as a human being, that shouldn't be a big deal. I guess the suggestion is the guns and ammo made him do it?

I bet this is another bully or people disliking anti social employee. The employee got mad that the believes he is victim of layoff/denied promotion/whatever.

Working with other people or hiring employees needs much higher people skills than being a stupid b1tchass prom king/queen in high school.

some may say.....
"I was really popular in high school and played varsity football" <-- this shit ain't going to fly in real life business skills.

This is why I use to prefer hiring people with at least 3mo in sales with commission or 1yr without commission job even for office staff and chemical engineers.

Let ls say there are too many assholes or turds working at a specific workplace, try to find a better job.
if they are as good as they think, they would get hired in a heartbeat.

Truly. If they could just tell us which definition they're using:

Good call and an interesting perspective.

I wonder how the move to virtual commuting will affect this? I was talking to some teacher in Special Education last month and someone commented on how kids these days spend all day on a computer rather than actively engaged with other children face to face. Furthermore, mom and dad hand the kid a tablet, phone, or other device as a babysitter then the parent goes off and does their own thing. This is being reflected in children's vocabulary in that they are not meeting benchmarks for vocabulary and literacy like they used to.
