Six and a half years ago we purchased two 10x42 Razor HD binoculars. We use them every day.

Recently, my wife's binoculars needed some minor repairs. Eight days after I shipped the binoculars they were on the way back to us fixed, cleaned and with new rubber lens covers. The repair tech did a superb job.

We have never had a problem with the Vortex optics themselves, still perfect and in spec. A year ago I needed new objective lens covers for my binoculars and Vortex sent them on request at no charge.

A few years ago our older Eagle Optics binoculars needed attention so I sent them to Eagle. Vortex repaired them at no cost and now that Eagle is out of business, Vortex still honors their warranty.

The Vortex warranty, service, communication and turn around time is truly outstanding. I just want to give a shout out to Vortex.

Over the years I have owned 4 pair of Bausch & Lomb Custom and 3 pair of Bausch & Lomb Elite binoculars. All came with a "lifetime" warranty. While excellent optics at the time all had problems with prisms shifting out of collimation. Ultimately, the parent company, Bushnell, failed to honor the warranties and they all sit broken. A few years ago I bought the new Bushnell Elite 10x42 binoculars for a Costa Rica trip. They had so many design and quality problems that I returned them for a refund. Bushnell's careless and negligent service is the reason why I will never buy another Bushnell product.

Pretty good warranty. I just had a 12 year old pair of viper 10x50 binoculars have the adjustable eyepiece break off. Vortex said it was unrepairable and sent a brand new set of viper 10x50 binoculars instead. Wish all warranty services were this easy.

Recently checked my AR and the Vortex Spitfire 1x-AR Tactical Prism Scope had lost the dot/circle etching.

Sent it off and got a whole new upgraded model in a week or so.

No complaints here. Love their stuff and service.

Great timing for this thread. Saw the reticle on one of my PST scopes was canted.

So just mail it in with the paperwork filled out? Don’t need to call in advance?

yea I was kind of worried about that too. Just mail it in with their online printout for service, nothing scheduled. They gave me an update 5 days later and new product in hand under 2 weeks.

My experience, while good overall, wasn't productive.......................
I shoot Service Rifle and so was testing out a Vortex PST.
Well alot of SR shooters adjust the parallax to say 300yds (and not the 100yds factory spec).
So I asked CS if they would do that, CS said yes and IIRC gave me a shipping label.
Once they got it, they told me "No, they couldn't." It became more irritating when the Service Guy started to argue with me about what I wanted to do.
But they cleaned it, tested and sent it back for free.......

So you might call CS and see if they will ship/return for free..........
Instead of just mailing it off............ (Save a few bucks???)
