So right. Problem is that those in control of the state and county party groups are so entrenched in maintaining their own positions that they will not move forward in any controversy that may endanger their entrenched position. We have an inept, corrupt and dysfunctional party hierarchy that utterly fails to represent their constituents and party philosophy. It's been this way in Colorado for decades which is why we have lost the state. Have you ever attended a county assembly? All their friends are there and nothing changes for the better.

Thankfully, down here there's a solid block of pro 2A, R committee people. That are involved and aware of the threats ahead of us. As well as an effective state gun rights group, with dedicated lobbyist. For now anyway. At least until us older folks die off. BUT we have an alert amount of those in the 20's & 30's who are not part of the leftist group think, either.

That was an interesting video. I thought about the reasons given by the Republican politicians for such little resistance and reflected on what I've read on this forum.

I don't know how many times I've read something along the lines of "I can't wait to leave this state!" I'm not blaming anybody but I wonder what the politicians who let these laws pass are going to do once everybody who otherwise would vote for them have dragged up and moved away?

All you need to do, because the politicians will never look. Is see how the voting has shifted, to the left. But they always believe "It's the Message" You're right it is.
The D's had a better message and media behind them to get it out there.
Let's not forget the "dark money" the D's complain about. Seems to be put to good use when it's a cause they champion.

What in the hell are you talking about? You think you are on an island that won’t be touched? You at the stern of the Titanic and its going DOWN, and those pols are going to get to safety and “never let you go….”.

Maybe not in 2022 since it is an election year and Pol-smoker made a deal to keep an AWB from messing with his re-election, but it will be back in 2023 for an AWB, based on the office of gun confiscation legitimization findings.

“We can’t let the rest of the country go the way of Colorado”- ouch

Talking about? How fuked CO is, and has been . Will AZ and other states see it, eventually. However with the current state of politics, in AZ not for another 2-4 years. Hopefully much longer, based on the great lobbying gun org we have, for one.

And No we cannot allow the rest of the country, that believes in freedom, to fall the way CA, CO, NY, Ill, NJ, MA etc have. A politician who has resigned them self to accepting defeat / compromise, has no business being in office.
