He had a good run. Cursory googling didn't reveal age or cause of death.

I never used his product but all respect to a man that worked hard to perfect the shooting sport.

Used his magazines exclusively for many years. My 38 Super was built on a "CMC" (Chip McCormick Corporation) frame which really was the "STI" 1911 frame. Initially STI partnered with CMC since CMC had distribution channels in place.
