Found info for a registered brand for my Grandfather's farm in Colorado dated 1931 is there any way to find info on address or plat info location of farm associated with the brand registration? I have been trying to find info on old family farm, but I suspect the mailing address at the time was likely just a PO Box. Family farm was in Brighton and likely nothing but houses now.

That?s a good brand could be worth some money if you would sell it
easy to make irons for and would translate well onto the livestock

our family brands are the /SV and the dipper J

I would reach out to the weld county brand inspector and see what they say

I checked my Colorado history book, but it is pretty specific to Northern Weld County. There weren't any entries for Lobdell, and a lot of entries for Brown, but I don't think for Frank Brown.

The brands all have to be registered with the state. May take some time to figure out who owns the brand now.

J / M brand is in my family. It went dormant in the 70s. I think they donated the iron recently
