Happy to be part of this community. Referred by the guys over at Bowers. Life long Colorado resident and long time shooter and now focusing on AR platform. I have a Remington 870 police I would like to sell to fund rifle build and match costs. Is it appropriate for me to post that here and if so, what section would be the place. To answer your question: We have a Trading Post section for buying/selling and trading, but... We had a HUGE problem with folks coming here just to hock their wares then immediately disappearing so we had to implement a 30-day new member wait period before new members can have access to the Trading Post. We like to remind our members that we are first and foremost a discussion forum and a community where the true value is where folks participate and exchange thoughts and ideas - with the added benefit of a Trading Post. So, come August 31st the Trading Post (TP) will become visible to you. But to be able to post/reply within the Trading Post you'll first need to go into the Announcements forum at the top of the site and read the first post then post an acknowledgement in the "RULES - Must Read and acknowledge BEFORE posting in the Trading Post (https://www.ar-15.co/threads/33477-RULES-Must-Read-and-acknowledge-BEFORE-posting-in-the-Trading-Post?p=2335427#post2335427)" thread. You don't have to wait the 30 days to read/acknowledge. This ensures you're aware of the rules of the TP and help keep you in good graces here.

In the mean time we hope you'll engage in discussions around the site. You shouldn't have a problem finding something that interests you as there is a thread about just about anything you can think of here (both firearm and non-firearm related).

Welcome. I sold my 870 Police long ago for good $$$. I could only speculate what they would bring now. I got mine from a friend that bought a bunch of trade-ins back in the day. And The Ginsue is correct that we like our members to be active a little before posting in the WTS area. ;-) Not a bad bunch as well.
