Was at Atomic Cowboy Friday night on Colfax with my dad and his god son and I have seemed to notice that more guys are now carrying purse's. Anyone else seem to notice recently? What on earth does a guy need to carry? As a man I cant image needing to carry anything other than a bi-fold wallet and my NRA/Rock Mountain Gun Owners Card.
LOL, isn't that gay central?

Wow you travel light, I can't imagine needing to carry a purse while spending a night out on the town, but I certainly carry more than you OP.

it's not a purse. it's a satchel

it's not gay if they consent. Hypothetically.
No, it's only gay if they consent, otherwise it's rape.
Save a purse, nuke a cowboy.

I do have a small 5.11 covert sling bag I'll use for day outings with the family, mainly for the first aid supplies, it keeps the kids from getting hurt (inevitably when I don't bring the bag, and don't have first aid supplies, they get hurt). Which bag do you use?
I'd rather wear a fanny pack.

Isnt this old news? About two years ago, I forget what neighborhood we were at, somewhere around central/ east of speer. SE denver. Maybe eastward, IIRC. It was pink shirt city. My wife went to the corner grocery store and there was even a guy in fromt of her buying just two items. 1) cucumber 2) oil. Sounds like I am making that up, but no exaggeration. She saw two other guys in short shorts with purses on her short trip. I saw a couple others on the way out. Unless there was a convention I was unaware of, it really seemed like the birth rate in that part of denver would be near zero.

I also like to use those when I don?t want some bag hanging on me all day.
and before you ask, yes sometimes it?s while I?m wearing flip flops with socks.
Sounds like Denver is transforming.

I often sling a tablet case with my iPad Pro, ereader, battery pack, and charge cables. I use 100 feet of paracord strung up on daisy-chained slipknots with carabiners at both ends as my sling. Just a convenient way to carry my daily electronics and make sure I've got some paracord handy.

I do? What else does a man need to carry?Well, I typically carry at least one knife (usually two, a Benchmade auto, and a Swiss Army), my smartphone, Glock 48 w/spare mag, small flashlight, wallet. I think that's about it, all fits on my person.

When I lived/worked in NYC, I used to carry a satchel. Satchels are easier to deal with mass transit/pickpockets/crowds/umbrella/chow/etc.
People who carry satchel looks like they are either bookie, loan shark, small business owner who carries cash. To me, it is a better version of money/deposit pouch with bank logo on it.

In addition to my wallet I sometimes carry a holster with a G19 and a holder for extra mags. Does that count?

Glad you asked.
one forty-five caliber automatic; two boxes of ammunition; four days' concentrated emergency rations; one drug issue containing antibiotics, morphine, vitamin pills, pep pills, sleeping pills, tranquilizer pills; one miniature combination Russian phrase book and Bible; one hundred dollars in rubles; one hundred dollars in gold; nine packs of chewing gum; one issue of prophylactics; three lipsticks; three pair of nylon stockings.

Gun
Wallet
Chapstick
Smokes
Lighter
House keys
Car keys
Pocket knife
I tried using a Blackhawk Tactical Briefcase for carrying my computer and gear, but it just didn't work as well as a backpack (which was also more covert).
I don?t always carry a bunch of shit but when I do some sort of backpack is my preferred way to do so. I usually carry something military/tactical looking so that people don?t mistake it for a purse.
post some daily carry purse here please. :)

Well it seems 5 out of 4 men in Denver, City and County of have the ghey sooooooo…….
I wonder how many of the pursers have had the covid vacine.
As I'm not a fan of a satchel/purse, nor a fanny pack, I have given thought to using one of the leather belt pouches from my costuming sets as a way of carrying stuff around. Especially as a way of getting my phone out of my pockets, since I worry about forgetting it in my back pocket and crushing it, or having an EMF radiation source next to my nuts when it's in a front pocket.

Yeah, I doubt the Denver purse guys are carrying powder and musket balls in theirs.
Well, maybe some talcum powder for chafing. And there could be balls attached to some sort of silicone appendage in there. Definitely not gunpowder and musket balls.

From my observations over the last 8 months(building a Hyatt hotel at 18th and Champa) there are damn few manly men left in Denver. The "men" I see on the street are freaks and geeks and should be sent to work on a ranch in northern Wyoming or a freighter out of Singapore. If they survive they may be able to help propagate the species, if not no loss.

When my wife and I re-established in Denver Metro in 2002, we entertained an about 5 minute fantasy of buying and living in a LODO condo. We were still in "that" phase of our lives- bars, concerts, eating out. At the time, they were going for the mid-$200's, same as a nice single family home with yard in west Arvada. We picked Arvada, which was a good thing.
I remember one of the post here from 2012.
300k is new 200k.
