So our garden this year, 2021, has been rockin we have picked dozens of Zucchinis and summer squash. We have also picked close to 100 cucumbers so far and filled several bowls full of cherry tomatoes. We have filled several large mixing bowls full of green beans. Our tomato plants are loaded. We have cantaloupe and watermelons still growing, along with more Zucchinis, cucumber, and green beans. Also have 6 different types of herbs growing which the wife has dried tons and put it away. Lettuce and spinach did good until about mid July then died off but we were eating salads daily.
Today we canned 10 pints, 15 quarts, and a 1/2 gal jar of pickles used a whole laundry baskets worth8709487095
I didn't plant anything, but I hand tilled the garden with 2 years of compost. I have about 5 separate watermelon plants, two basil, and strangely a pile of morning glory, with nothing to climb on.
I grew the watermelons two seasons ago, but the season wasn't long enough for them to develop. Since they came up on their own this year, I'm going they get there this year.

This is what I have on my counter currently after today's canning. The wife has blanched and frozen over a dozen vacuumed sealed bags of green beans as well

Between the lettuce and , if the flowers we have turn in to cukes. We'll have enough to feed the country of Sudan.
Thankfully, we have a few squatters staying on the homestead, who like lettuce.

We had a limited garden this year. But managed to plant cucumbers, green beans, carrots and jalapenos. Have canned about 24 pints of green beans, lots of pickles and a case of peaches. Going to make some of those spicy carrot pickles maybe next weekend.
This was last weekend's canning session. Peach jam, peach rum sauce, green beans. Will probably get another dozen pints of green beans canned today. Green beans are doing great but the Japanese beatles are starting to win so not sure how many more I'm going to harvest from here on out. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210905/5e6c028e2ccaf3acf710b3d83ba6550c.jpg
I had no opportunity to garden this year. Despite that, our Honeycrisp apple tree had a bumper crop....and it was promptly devoured by 100,000 Japanese beetles. :(
Our peach tree had a massive amount of peaches- so much so that some branches were bent nearly double. The peaches weren't very big this year, but we were going to start harvesting within a week...and a massive branch broke. So we harvested about 1/2 bushel tonight- many aren't fully ripe yet, but I'll spread them out on the countertop to let ripen and I'll make spiced peach jam.
