Highlights-

"Bremer, 43, an Air Force Academy graduate and 2008 Olympian in the modern pentathlon, is a former chairman of the El Paso County Republican Party..."

"We deserve a senator who wants to be a voice for Colorado rather than climbing the political ladder."

"I don't think we're a hard-left state," he said. "In 2020, the election was about (then-President Donald) Trump. This election will not be about Trump. This election will be a referendum on how Democrats are handling single-party control, from defunding the police to masks in schools to problems we don't even know yet."

His video is kinda funny. I disagree with him about Bennett being a failure for one getting one bill passed in ten years. I say the less laws passed, the better.

If his platform was congressional term limits, I'd vote for him twice.

Doesn't matter, vote-by-mail sealed our fate years ago.

And incumbents win 93% of the time anyway. Because it's a lot easier to contribute a few $ for continuing influence to an already greased incumbent than have to gamble all over again with a new guy.

I wish him luck but sadly I feel this state is lost.

You must show your vaccine passport to fly on a plane, but yeah, go vote. No passport required.

I've pretty much lost faith in our elections and political process.

It seems beyond repair, at this point.

Let's say, I do not like Bennett more than Boulder Liberal Udall.

who do we have that have a real shot at Bennett seat who also has many national and state exposure?

Probably have to go full Trump on their ass.

Explain to them, MAGA, Make America Great Again.

No one really, I don't know of any current state house or senate republicans that is anywhere near to being a local household name.. the state party doesn't know how to groom anyone nor does it seem like there are any individuals that are trying to get themselves out there in to the public sphere.

Is that what we have come to? Only name recognition, not ideas matter?

The media is not going to publicize any conservative candidate, with popular ideas.

Apparently we are looking for another Ronald Reagan? Everyone has to be a Ronald Reagan?!

I'd happily put up with some mean tweets in exchange for gas being under $3.50 again.

I'm pretty much done with voting, especially in this state. It doesn't matter, Republicans dont put forth any effort so why should we. The Republicans stab us in the back every chance they get.

I sure don't know what the solution is, but I am pretty sure that giving up, because of the consequences of giving up, is not the right path.

Do I think we can win again? With the flood gates of Mexicans entering the country? Probably not.
With close to or more than half the country on the Government dole? Can we win again?
With 27 Trillion Dollars in debt.. (don't do the math) will people's sons and daughters have a better life than we have had?

But if there is one thing Americans do, is we fight to be free.

If you think Mexicana from Mexico are voting Democrat, if at all, then you obviously don't know any.

LOL, you do, Irving?

Tell me about how they are all voting republican.

Irving

Yeah, I live in Colorado, of course I know Mexicans from Mexico. They're all more conservative, and religious, than any US born conservatives I know. Hating Mexicans is a huge mistake on the part of conservatives, and more so the Republican party continuing to push that narrative. No US demographic is really getting more conservative (that might change with all the libs jumping ship recently, but it won't make a dent), so what better idea than to alienate an entire county full of family oriented, hard working, conservative people that want to come here for the American dream?

People love complaining about Mexicans coming here, and saying that they want their country back. Meanwhile, the economy is heading toward the shitter while inflation is soaring, we've been marching ever closer toward a civil war, the IRS wants to make every person a criminal and steal their money, the ATF is trying to make every citizen a criminal, the White House is piling up empty vaccine syringes like kindling and is about to light the country on fire in yet another attempt to stamp out what remains of the middle class, we just wrote the newest, saddest chapter in history over in Afganistsn, with many more chapters on deck. Anyone stupid enough to even have "Mexicans" on their radar of current problems deserves every bit of devastation that's coming their way, and it'll be out of left field.

That's a good post Irving, but it is so wrong.

there is a reason we have Border Patrol. We differtiate ourselves from others.

Mexicans, are not us.

We are not them.

Irving

Maybe if we had more Boarder Patrol, we wouldn't have any of those other problems.

You'd first need an Executive branch that actually cared about enforcing our laws. They'd rather come up with "mandates" via fiat.

Irving
09-10-2021, 09:06
They created the laws that created this "problem." It wasn't a problem, then it became a problem. The laws were what changed.

Aren't those also known as building inspectors?

Bremer, a first-time candidate and former Olympic athlete, trails Bennet 40% to 32%,

Apparently there are eight Republicans vying for Bennet's seat in the Senate. NONE of them has the bank roll Bennet has.

I've been getting emails from Aadland for months. (Can't figure how he found me. I haven't been a Republican for nine years!) Aadland doesn't even show-up in the polling.

There was a question about why name recognition is important. I'll answer that with this. Who wouldn't rather have Tom Tancredo than the "post turtle" Bennet? (What's Tom been doing lately anyway...?)
