Well, our trusted guy is closing shop...
My wife has trusted their shop for more than 40 years.
Older Italian guy, filthy garage, half drunk half of the time, but honest and trustworthy.
Would save you a buck (or a few hundred, I do shop around) whenever he could, coming up with ways to fix things as of it was a personal challenge between him and the new computerized, plastic cars we deal with these days.
You know the kind.
But hey, he earned a break, so he's closing shop.
I've have a few less than stellar experiences with other shops on jobs that were just beyond his abilities.
Can anyone recommend a shop in Wheatridge that can actually be trusted?
We have a 2006 Escalade and a 2005 Mini Copper.
Thank you.

I assume people know a bunch of good mechanics, just not in the tiny area of wheat ridge. My parents know some in Golden, I'll ask.

Dad says he goes to Maximum Automotive near 44th and Kipling. Says he doesn't know if they are the greatest, but seem honest.

He also likes Kenny at Cool Breeze Automotive. That's a one man shop, so slower.

I am no help.
When I bought a Tahoe in 2010 from Emich, they had a class for new owners.
The seasoned shop manager taught the class, and basically said that the new breed of mechanics are computer analysts, and not the old wrench turners.
He walked me through a few tests that I could have done before that Tahoe.
I had to agree, times had changed.
