Actual range from gun to target was probably under 100 yards. The trigger was pulled with live view and a 1.6 sec lag time for the aimed followup shots.

Blowing up the entire vehicle would have been easy.
Killing the scientist and not his wife, who was literally inches away from him, and doing it all by remote control with a 1.6 second delay, is pretty damn impressive to me. [Dunno]
