Good 'ole Polis, friend to all.
"The state will be expanding individual and small group benefits, include coverage for mental health exams and substance abuse help, and in 2023 will cover gender-affirming care, including gender-reforming surgery."

Hoooray. It’s normalized now, I expect the courts will soon be stepping in to help all the poor kids whose parents won’t allow them to convert. Friggen clown world, man.

It is just getting crazier. More signs of the demise of the great republic.

More signs of the demise of the great republic.Putting more flags on your lawn helps slow it.
Of course, they can legislate what insurance companies have to pay for and it won't affect rates of all their customers at all. It's not like expenses have to be recouped, if the government can print cash and spend money like a 16 year old girl with a credit card at the mall, so can insurance companies, right?
Also, isn't it sexist to pay for cosmetic surgery, e.g. boob jobs for men, but not women? We need to campaign to make them pay for women's cosmetic breast procedures too. It's only FAIR.
Any other states that do this? I'm really looking forward to all the nutty trans people moving to Colorado, the stoners and the transients have been so great, might as well go full Portland mode statewide I guess.
I'm going to identify as a 22 year old NCAA All American linebacker and make the state pay for testosterone replacement therapy to boost my T levels to match my identity. [Weight]
As my wife pointed out too, remember that insurance doesn't require service in the state. So a tranny can come here for a couple weeks, get a CO drivers license, pick up a month of insurance, fly back to Florida (or wherever) and get $50,000 in procedures, real Colorado residents pick up their tab.
