The WSJ article says:
"LONDON - A would-be attacker in Liverpool killed himself when he detonated an explosive device Sunday in the back of a taxi in an act police characterized as terrorism.The driver had locked the doors of the cab, preventing the assailant from getting out and potentially hurting others, Liverpool?s mayor said. The driver escaped serious injury."
No mention of that in the BBC article.
